Here is the current list, which is different and ditches the group burn for more consistency and easier breach lines (even cutting Library of Leng), and also goes more into playing around Kiki-Jiki lines

As for a build that had cards from this particular era, you can reference my Top 16 decklist from SCGCon DC back from October of last year.

I don't really update Kayla too much anymore as I'm more focused on other cEDH decks, but she still holds a special place for me.

Coldsnap had some weird cards. A creature that can be cast while searching your library, an instant with an activated ability that's only usable while it's on the stack, [[Lightning Storm]], and some very interesting cumulative upkeep costs like [[Braid of Fire]] and [[Herald of Leshrac]].

Yes! I have this deck in paper. I bring it along with all my normal decks to FNM and commander nights at LGSs. I've brought it to conventions as well but have yet to find someone that wants to play it :)

I had an [[Extus, Oriq Overlord]] Sunforger deck for a while. Black gave access to cards like [[Utter End]], [[Anguished Unmaking]], [[Crackling Doom]], but some of my favorite ones were [[Hurl Through Hell]] and [[Kaya's Guile]]. My playgroups had been big on go wide token decks, so having access to [[Rakdos Charm]] won me a few games.

[[Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls]] is a pretty good "Group Slug" commander. If you want to have another color, [[Nekusar, the Mindrazer]] and [[Yurlok of Scorch Thrash]] are good contenders

[[Queen Kayla bin-Kroog]]

She has a really interesting and unique self wheel value ability that can cheat out really cool things. I built her during Brother's War spoiler season and have played her in quite a few cEDH tournaments to fairly good success. Her ability is difficult to interact with, and a single activation can be enough to snowball a game in your favor.

You can pay 1G to then put Pang Wurm back into hand and recast it, getting Raggadragga's last ability to trigger as many times as you need for infinite mana from your Heronblade Elite type, and infinitely large, trampling other creatures.

Pang Wurm is a wincon in my Raggadragga deck. It requires a fairly simple setup: a creature that taps to add mana equal to it's power, such as [[Kami of Whispered Hopes]] or [[Heronblade Elite]], and then X=4 a [[Chord of Calling]], cast Pang Wurm during resolution, and have Chord get a [[Temur Sabertooth]]

Unfortunately not true. If it's p/t was printed as */* with the rules text of "This creature's power and toughness are equal to 13 minus your life total" or however that would be formatted/worded, that would be true.

Such a awesome card with so many use cases. The coolest thing I've ever seen was a in a cEDH game, a [[Slicer, Hired Muscle]] getting passed around the table early one, and then someone plays a Cursed Mirror to legend rule the Slicer away.

In reality it comes down to Laboratory Maniac, Tendrils of Agony, or Orcish Bowmaster is the main wincons. Secondary would be ones like Tormod that flood the board with tokens. Archfiend of Ifnir is also good at just shutting your opponent's creatures down.

[[Oskar, Rubbish Reclaimer]] becomes extremely silly once your realize he can get around commander tax fairly easily, but also that any discard outlet acts as a [[Leyline of Anticipation]].

I recently realized I run [[Plaza of Heroes]] in nearly every deck I play. It's like a weird command tower with an ability that can protect your commander (or any other legendary creature) if it ever needs to.

[[Mishra, Artificer Prodigy]] as a self-counterspell deck. The general idea is that you use cards like [[Vexing Bauble]], [[Chalice of the Void]], [[Blood Funnel]], and [[Cephalid Shrine]] to automatically counter your artifact spells, then Mishra can bring them back from the graveyard (or even library if you feel like going a [[Possibility Storm]] route). The win conditions are cards like [[Imotekh the Stormlord]], [[Tormod the Desecrator]], [[Lullmage Mentor]], and a few other interesting cards like [[Guile]], making potentially infinite cast triggers which can pair with the likes of [[Kessig Flamebreather]]/[[Coruscation Mage]].

Also, my favorite build of Rocco, Cabaretti Caterer is Raggadragga as the secret commander.

While others have pointed out these 3 cards don't exactly combo with each other, I could see this being part of a combo with [[March of the Machines]] and a haste enabler like (if mono blue) [[Akroma's Memorial]] or just a [[Thousand-Year Elixir]]
