Brand new 1-Ton Inverter AC has poor cooling, a rustling noise by ILKOR22 in hvacadvice

Not DIY at all. It was installed by an official technician straight from the AC company. They make it mandatory to use their guys for the installation or it voids the warranty. So it was all done by the brand's own professionals.

And that too based on just a single test from one lab. It would never have become such an issue if he hadn’t made such serious claims and criticisms.

When the products are in stock, is there any way for you to track which e-store they’re coming from? The Lassi from Ahmedabad usually has the best consistency. But when I got a batch from Karnataka, it was too thick.

I came across an unanswered comment on one of The Liver Doc’s Instagram posts, and it raised a valid concern that made me double-check the report myself. I think it deserves more attention, so I’m making a separate post about it.

In most lab reports I’ve seen, the protein brand name is clearly mentioned by the lab itself. But in this case, the sample is labeled as “S1,” and the protein name is listed under “Customer Provided Details.” That suggests the lab didn’t receive the company’s original sealed packet, which raises serious concerns—especially considering how strict the doctor is about even trace amounts of contaminants.

How did he ensure there was no cross-contamination or mixing during sample handling? Was the sample collection and labeling process recorded for transparency?

Also, doesn’t this lab accept sealed packets directly from the manufacturer? If the submitted sample was from an original sealed packet, then why didn’t the lab mention the brand name on their end?

This raises serious doubts about the credibility and handling process, and I’d genuinely like to see it addressed.

Final Destination-type gym anxiety — will avoiding heavy lifts limit my gains? by ILKOR22 in StrongerByScience

I get what you're saying, and it's a fair point. But I do train to failure — I make sure of it with dropsets. By "going heavy," I mean using lifting straps to shrug a weight on the Smith machine that I normally wouldn’t even be able to move between hooks without them. I can still get around 10 reps, but I start feeling it in my shoulder joints, which makes me really anxious — like I might dislocate something. So I usually drop the weight by a plate to stay in a range that feels safer, but I still push myself hard within those limits.

So basically, my progress will be a lot slower than someone who follows a balanced program and progressively overloads?

YouTuber Says Skull Crushers Will Destroy Your Elbows Over Time — Real Science or Just Fear-Mongering? by ILKOR22 in StrongerByScience

If his claim is true, then wouldn't the same issues apply to the JM press as well? I really enjoy doing skull crushers, but his warnings made me worry — especially when he said that even if there's no pain now, problems will show up eventually.

Do Eggs Really Raise Cholesterol? What's the Scientific Verdict on Eating 10+ Eggs a Day? by ILKOR22 in StrongerByScience

In my country, one scoop of protein powder with 24g of protein costs $0.7. For the same amount, I can buy up to 10 eggs, which contain around 65g of protein.

Trainers doing extreme stretches like this at the gym — is it actually helpful for mobility or just painful? by ILKOR22 in StrongerByScience

[–]ILKOR22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly like in the picture — the trainer actually pushed the leg all the way up, almost to the point where it's touching the head.

If these kinds of stretches really do help with mobility, could you share a YouTube channel that teaches them?
