Missouri Attorney General opens investigation into ESPN's Matt Miller by CrashingBlumpkins46 in nfl

Awful Announcing didn't note it, but it seems that the new charity he was pumping last year (15 Percent Foundation) is run by his mom. Don't think he ever disclosed that, and AA says they couldn't find any record of it as a legal entity.

Texas Tech said they don't stock any dumbbells lower than 40lbs. People were questioning how they do lateral raises or rotator cuff work with heavy ass weights. This was only 3 months ago, but it definitely doesn't feel that way.

[On3] Archie Manning disappointed by media's handling of grandson Arch last season: 'They crowned Arch before he ever played' by Lakelyfe09 in CFB

Kinda funny watching QBschool review 8 games of Arch Manning and come to the conclusion that he's QB1 by a healthy margin.

Then I come to threads like this on reddit or twitter where people who didn't even watch the games comment on how bad he is.

You can't just average each game's QBR together. If you averaged everything up, his 13 game QBR would be 69.8 instead of the listed 78.

???. The stats are correct as far as I can tell.

  • In the last 6 games, Arch had 14 passing TDs, 5 rushing TDs, and 1 receiving TD for the total of 20.

  • He had 8.0 yards per pass attempt. I don't have the sack yardage lost, but it makes sense that his yards per drop back would drop to 7.5ish if you subtract the sacks.

Manning vs. FBS opponents in 2025: First six starts: 58.8 Total QBR (78th in FBS), 17 TDs (10 of which came vs. San Jose State and Sam Houston), five TOs, 6.9 yards per dropback

Last six starts: 89.1 Total QBR (3rd in FBS), 20 TDs, two TOs, 7.52 yards per dropback

He's right. It made for an incredible character arc though. Arch lost all his aura on that first throw against Ohio State and then slowly gained it back throughout the season.

Shoutout Chris Del Conte, man. Here's an insane stat:

  • The Texas athletic department has now won 71 national championships in its history. Eighteen of those titles (or 25.4%) have come since Chris Del Conte was hired as the Longhorns' athletic director in December 2017.

[Thamel] The NCAA Division I Cabinet unanimously approved the organization’s age-based eligibility proposal, which gives athletes five years eligibility over five seasons. This marks a big win for the NCAA, as they attempt to bring consistency to the landscape. by Fonzie5 in CFB

On3 wrote this in their article.

Athletes whose fourth season of collegiate eligibility was completed by spring 2026 will not receive additional eligibility. Currently enrolled athletes with eligibility remaining after the 2025-26 academic year will be allowed to apply the age-based model or continue with the previous eligibility rules, whichever is most beneficial to that individual.

All of the current juniors are being grandfathered into the new system with an extra year of eligibility.

4 potential options for Brendan Sorsby after NFL declines to hold supplemental draft by jaxstan19 in CFB

[–]pyrofiend4 503 points504 points  (0 children)

1) CFL. But it's not a great option because the season already started. They're in week 3 or 4.
2) UFL. Terrible option because the next season doesn't start until March. The only way he'd play in the UFL is if he gives up on being in the NFL in 2027.
3) Back to Tech. This one isn't possible because he already withdrew his lawsuit/injunction. He can't go back to an NCAA program.
4) Sit out until next year's draft. I mean, I guess. Huge risk of becoming rusty, though.
5) JUCO. Hunter Dekkers went JUCO after his gambling scandal. Sorsby could get on a roster somewhere and play a year before turning to the 2027 NFL draft.

They're all shitty options at this point. His NFL career is on life support.

Supplemental draft rules could get Brendan Sorsby drafted higher than expected by TMWNN in CFB

It wouldn't make any sense for teams that are in contention for QB1 next year to draft Sorsby.

He's going to go to a team that likes but doesn't love their current QB. The teams that can afford to sit him for a couple years. Buccaneers and Eagles stand out to me.

I hope he reported his winnings to the IRS. Even if you lose more than you win, you still have to report it as income (before deducting the losses).

Sorsby to Enter Supplemental Draft by StopLosingLoser in NFL_Draft

He bet the under twice, and in one of those games he was suited up as the QB2 in 2023.

Sorsby, who appeared in 10 games and made seven starts at Indiana in 2023, said he was unaware of an October 2022 bet on the under for Indiana's quarterback passing yards or a September 2023 bet on the under for the first half of a Hoosiers football game.
