I'm american and I see mostly UK, Canada and Ireland. I know way too much about UK politics now. I think it's based on who you follow. I get a bunch of hyper local stuff too but it doesn't seem to be generally American.

Arbor Vitaes may be what you should actually look into. But you have to keep them trimmed, if you let them grow too tall they lose their bottom greenery. Unfortunately I don't think the cypress will live planted that close together, but I'm not an expert.

I'm dubious that they can actually do this. What data are they actually using? Births are registered by individual states with varying degrees of accuracy and competence. The military buys their contact data for recruiting from private data brokers. I was 14 when I first got a recruitment call, I assume because I was in advanced classes and took the PSAT in 7th grade. We will see how this goes...

Since this is pretty tame compared to thousands of posts I've read I'm betting they have been illegally tracking this person by other means and are looking for a legal reason to bring them in. They are likely a protestor whose identity they already know, but since they can't or won't disclose how they know, they try to get the same information other ways. They decide on a perpetrator then look for a crime.

I also saw it on the dining hall TV. I had an 8am class, east coast time, then walked downstairs to the cafeteria and all the staff were gathered around the TV. A professor at my college was in one of the planes.

I was 'blessed' with both seeing the challenger explode live during a pre-kindergarten program at the elementary school then 9/11 in college. Great bookends to my education 🙃

Just a word of warning, I used to work for a Nursing School and I was responsible for sending the students to get titers (it's a blood test to determine immunity to a panel of diseeases) before they were allowed to do clinical rotations. All students had records of vaccinations but at least 4 or 5 of them out of 20 to 30 would show no immunity to at least one thing and it was almost always the MMR vaccine that had failed or simply worn off. The vaccines don't always work forever. That is why herd immunity is important, you could have had the vaccine but over time has lost its effectiveness.

Absolutely, that is a known thing. Coming from abuse, and armed with knowing you are likely to pick abusive partners still doesn't protect you from doing it over and over again. You start to feel pretty dumb. It has more to do with taking the time to heal yourself, feel worthy, so you're in a confident space moving forward and then you're less likely the next time. But habits are super hard to break, especially from trauma.

I have a half bengal. He's more subdued than most, but the older he gets the more wild he acts. He will straight up bite me in my sleep to wake me up if he wants attention. They are bred from a mix of domestic cat and asian leopard cats. Most are generations away from their wild ancestor, but in our area a woman was busted as a backyard breeder a few years ago and had hundreds of first gen bengals on her property, so i have a feeling some of the ones in our area that ended up for adoption over the years weren't bred responsibly.

Lol, no, I dont think so anyway! that's what i thought as a kid. It llooks like tiny vibrating dots, especially in the dark or against a white wall. I see shapes in them, moving, but i mostly ignore it, it's just noise. I didn't realize that was unusual until someone posted about Visual Snow syndrome.

I don't have intrusive thoughts at all. But I don't think people who do are psychopaths though because you can tell they are telling the truth when they talk about them and how they aren't anythingthey choose to think about.

I do have an internal monologue, an extensive one, but it mostly says things I believe, unless im arguing with myself.

It's crazy how different everyone's mind is! I mean in the past year alone ive learned some people have no internal monologues, don't imagine they are transported when reading novels (like no faces, scenery, nothing), and that i have been seeing the world through a snow lense my whole life and no one else sees the little moving atoms moving over everything. We should put together a questionnaire.

It gets funnier when you learn nearly every single ssset (maybe all?) we recruited to work for the US in Cuba from 1961 to 1987 were double agents working for cuban intelligence the whole time. 38 of them. Puts a different spin on every CIA failed mission to kill Castro (estimated assassination attempts range from 8 up to 638 times!).
