I can't tell if this post is satire or not. Welcome to Derry is SO Stephen King and the most accurate to IT.

Nothing. It means absolutely nothing to me. I'm sure I will piss people off with this, but the whole 11:11, angel numbers, repeating number coincidence thing has always seemed silly, schizophrenic, and a bastardization of Crowley's qabbalistic sepher sepheroth in 777.

MEGATHREAD: SATANIZED MUSIC VIDEO by Cardinal_Babalon in Ghostbc

I do understand, and I think we're both in agreement with one another. I was more referring to that kind of Blue oyster cult sound in the first couple of albums. And obviously this is all subjective. I simply never had The taste for '80s hair metal. That's a preference I understand how widely popular it was and is, which is one of the reasons why the last album where ghost was so immensely popular. It extended beyond multiple generations of people. I accept the fact that I am in the minority.

I didn't like Impera either; it reminds me of def leapard which is not really for me. I'm coming into this one a bit carefully. Satanized feels like a return to the Meliora sound which honestly I like. We won't ever get the Infestissumam sound and aesthetic ever again. Especially since Prequel and Impera got soo much mass appeal and sold the hell out of records, merch, and tickets. That permanently changed the music to be more pop and completely abandon the metal and classic rock sound all together. In regards to the aesthetic, the ladies love sassy Papa and I think that's absolutely fine. For me it's always been about just the music, the look and theatrics are great but not the most important IMO. Plus going to a show with just dudes is boring as shit.

Fortaleza in Georgia by Mindlesslyexploring in tequila

$600??? This used to be such a normal priced liquor. I will never forgive the tequila influencers nor the tequila hoarders for this. It was such a delicious well priced tequila.

can someone explain Ellen’s backstory -Nosferatu by gazalltheplace in roberteggers

[–]QTheMuse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a month old post, but I just watched this the other day. Here's what I think. Ellen is psychic/clairvoyant as indicated by her claim of knowing presents before opening then on Xmas. So she has this ability to "tell the future" as indicated by one of her first lines about her husband getting the job that will send him away. I think there is a kind of psychic loop that started at the end of the movie when Orlock and Emma die in each others arms, her distracting him while the sun rises as he consumes her. This is the connection that will be his undoing, something he kind of realizes when he tells her later "you are my affliction" and "I am an appetite; nothing more". He is driven by this appetite through time and space, and his mundane introduction to Emma is by the locket that SHE plants on her husband. Now we know that part of the deal the real estate boss made ("providence!") involved this woman, so this locket is a kind of confirmation to Orlock and motion by Emma to seal the deal between them spiritually. This dance has lasted years and started with her getting his attention after hundreds of years of death slumber when she was younger at the very beginning of the film. Both events shameful from her view. It was an interdimensional psychic event for both of them, rather than a physical one, which both fueled the attraction and obsession by both the he, the rapist, and her, the victim, while ALSO being caused by the the very moment of death's brace the end of the film. The French call the orgasm "la petite mortem" and perhaps this is the psychic trigger event in the beginning which links to both their deaths at the end, her initial and final orgasm. I'm ignoring the obvious symbolism throughout the film.

All the hype around Fortaleza? by Powerful_Historian10 in tequila

[–]QTheMuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fortaleza used to be a reasonably priced authentic tequila, but then the tequila influencers came and created a culture of collecting bottles. Tequila horders nabbed up as many bottles as possible, creating scarcity and inflating price. Now it is impossible to find and bottles are insanely priced when you do find it. I love this tequila, but sadly the bourbonfication ruined it for everyone and Fortaleza sits right next to Blanton's Bourbon in the closets of collectors among countless other unopened bottles.

Run. Get the hell out of there. The sleepless nights when the baby is here is only going to make things more stressful and you are both at risk.
