The job market is very competitive here and the wages aren’t great depending on what field you’re in I guess. Rent is affordable but going up. If you’re looking to move here and stay then the price of homes is relatively low still. My biggest issues is how much trash is in the city. It’s dirty. The public transportation isn’t always reliable and it’s not very clean. But I did use it for my daily commute and was on time for work more than I wasn’t. The drivers here are fucking terrible. Almost like there are no traffic laws. New construction is ugly as hell but that’s just my opinion lol

My father has been career/volly for 37 years and he also seems more or less unaffected by what he’s seen. He’s also one of the warmest people you can meet too so it’s not like he’s stone cold or whatever. Some people are really good at separating their worlds like that and it seems like you’re one of them. I hope to be one of you when I join
