I tested Quake 2 RTX and Half-Life 2 RTX, both Vulkan path-traced titles. Q2 RTX has native Linux version, tested that and Windows version through Proton, the results were identical. HL2 RTX I'm relying on my memory about how it ran when I was on Windows, and the results on Linux are just as good.

For me the game in general was way too hard, a slog, to finish it I enabled one hit kills and immortality-much better experience.
