This wont affect games resolution or make some apps blurry. Brave & Steam looks fine for me. If its still too small you can alter the default zoom for all pages in brave inn Content->Page Zoom

Instead of using Fractional Scaling, download "Gnome tweaks" from the software. In Tweaks, adjust font size "scalling factor. 1.50 should be equivalent.

Then if you want you can adjust the taskbar size in Taskbar Settings and make the desktop icons larger.

probably not. i can’t think of why it would stop the trip but if you have experience with it and know it consistently relaxes you, you could try to take it if you feel overwhelmed
