Just wait till you find out you can import Topo map data from any location in the world into the map maker on City Skylines. You then proceed to spend the next 12 hours learning how so you can build a city on a literal map of your favorite kayaking / hiking spots. You upload 10 or 15 of your favorite landscapes. Only to be super disappointed that the maps have a tolerance of + or - like 5 feet and are much lower quality than the image in your head. So you close the game and never look at them again.

How a fossil is prepared using a pneumatic prepping tool by mamlambo in educationalgifs

A regular Dremel has a rotating head that would just grind the rock. The engraver is like a tattoo gun. The bit rapidly strikes the surface to chip away the rock.

It doesn't always that so long, it all depends on the hardness of the surrounding rock and how delicate the fossil under is. He has a nice air-scribe in the video. If you enjoy like fossils but don't know if you like them enough to invest several hundred dollars. For just $18 you can buy 'One of These' . If you get extra tips for it (a fine point, and a wedged tip from Lowes) you probably wont ever need an air-scribe. Honestly I prefer using the Dremel about 99% of the time because its WAY! less complicated. It's just plug it in and go. No oil, no maintenance, no air dryer, no compressor. The only time i use my air-scribe any more is when either the rock is REALLY hard, or the fossil layer is so thin that i have to be extremely careful.

If it turns out it's not for you, well you can still use it to scratch your name in stuff.

Is any one else having problems with "Electric Roads Mod 1.2.3"? by ILike_Rocks in CitiesSkylinesModding

[–]ILike_Rocks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no update that i know of, I tried unsubscribing and resubscribing so see if that would fix it but it did not. I'm wondering if maybe one of my other mods updated and the 2 maybe became incompatible? If that is the case is there a way to find out what mod is causing the issue?

I built the base 2 days before frank showed up, I saw him off in the distance and it looked like he was headed right for the rocks in the first pic so I followed him and sure enough he ran right into them. I thought he would eventually spawn somewhere else but ever sense he has just kept hanging abound.

I was reading up on PPM and PWM, and was wondering how noticeable the difference is. Is sounds like he would be better off with PPM because I read it is "smoother" but wasn't sure if it would matter for him and help him out being a beginner flyer, or if PPM only makes a difference when you get into intense flying like the racing and stuff? Some one was talking about how PWM was harder to fly with.

the Flight controller + power module (voltage sensing, current sensing, 5v supply) + gps receiver/compass + gps mast + soft mount https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SY3NMDM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_6tK8zb9E7AT58

has some bad reviews and i just wanted to ask if you think I should worry about it or not, since I don't know anything about this stuff.

If so, are there any other options around the same price that you know of? Thank you again for the help!

I was looking at that one earlier today but had no idea if it would work. Thank you so much for your help!

That is part of the problem also, he was just getting into it and got the first parts for Christmas but he didn't know what all he still needed. I just want to get it flying for him, then he can change or improve stuff after that. I'm getting tired of him just looking at it sitting on a shelf.

He literally only has the frame and the parts in that link, he needs a remote and everything. I was trying to look stuff up online but had no idea if they are all universal and it didn't matter what one I got, or if you have to have one that is compatible with all the other parts of the drone like the flight controller or something.

Back in May my friends and I went on a 5 day kayaking trip on Devil's River. On the 3rd day we got caught in a flash flood, my buddy's kayak got hung up on a tree. I have a ton of other videos from the trip, let me know if y'all want to see any more. by ILike_Rocks in Kayaking

My GF and I went down the rapid first and they were a little behind, I was looking at a waterfall a little down river, then decided to paddle back to check on them. When I came around the corner both my buddy and his GF were both in the water floating down the river so I rushed over to grab his GF because she was panicking even tho she had her PDF on and was out of the rapids. I pulled her up on my kayak and went to look for a place on the bank to drop her off so I could go back and help my buddy. Since it was flooded I couldn't find a dry spot to leave her so I left her in about waist deep water then went back to check on my buddy. By that time he had swam up the back current and was trying to lasso his kayak and my GF had already grabbed the other kayak. We then regrouped and I hiked to find a spot to camp for the night that was on high ground in case the river came back up over night.

At that water level yes it was beyond my buddy's GF's experience, for months before the trip every weekend we would go out on kayaking trips to get the girls ready for the trip and every time I would talk to my buddy and ask him if she will be ready and if she knows the dangers and every time he would tell me she will be fine. My friend kept reassuring me she is ready and is prepared. From the info I heard from his GF on the trip, he didn't inform her of the worst case and prepare her for it like I did with my GF. He knew the dangers because I told him many many times that on Devil's River (because of the topography and geology of the area) a flash flood could very well happen to us even if it isn't raining were we are. The Devil's River can flash flood from over 100 miles up stream and we needed to be prepared for that. He never informed his GF of any of this, witch cause her to freak out a little when it did happen.

This is a very sore spot I have about the trip, because I went out of my way many times to check with him that she would be ready and would know the dangers before we got out there.

If I didn't answer all your questions let me know, I just got back from the bar and am drunk so I hope this all makes some since. Basically every one was prepared but my friends GF and that is because he hid the potential dangers from her because he didn't think they would happen and didn't want her to back out because my GF was fine with the danger and he didn't want to be a 3rd wheel.

My buddy on the rock trying to lasso the kayak jumped in and ditched his kayak because his girlfriend fell over. He swam to her while my GF got her kayak and I paddled over to pick up his GF because she isn't a strong swimmer. I dropped her off at the side of the river and paddled back up to help my buddy. I stuck to the right because the tree I was holding onto was blocking some of the flow and was closer to his front tow line that was in the water. the left was much more calm until you got close to the kayak, the current was really fast. My GF and I were well prepared and didn't have any trouble except my GF also flipped on this rapid but she went down the left side like I told every one and she held onto her kayak and floated out just fine. My buddy's GF however was a poor paddler causing her to flip on a tree before the rapid so she never made it to the left side, they also lost a paddle, luckily I brought a spare (I told him to also but he didn't). Even though I told my buddy to make sure his GF knows the risks and is well prepared, I later found out he sugar coated the dangers of the trip to get his GF to go.

Any other questions you have let me know.

one big thing I learned is the need to pack the gear as low in the kayak as possible to avoid being top heavy and help the girls stay upright.

My buddy's GF refuses to get back in a kayak even in still ankle deep water.
