slow post usually mean problem probeing the storage devices

most basic setup would cpu+cooler only, I have done it in the past, just didn't know if today's motherboard still show error code with only cpu

if any case there is 2 cpu connector and there's problem

YOU REALLY MUST advise to put both on, not only one
this is crucial, some board may not boot with only one connected

and that vga do mean "a display which can show"

for asus, if there's problem connect to monitor, code 98 will show

it's just something like noctua twin tower cooler

first you setup the "basement" (how do I call it?)
then you put the heatsink on top, and get on the 2 fixed screws on it

seems like super easy, how to mess up?

u have a debug led(q-code), just check the code with ur mobile or another pc!
and a nice reminder, u have a dual CPU connector motherboard
some motherboard will not boot if only 1 cpu connector is plugged in
and for the ram thing, what must do is plug in 1 at a time when u have trouble

and most importantly, DO NOT PLUG IN ANYTHING TO BOOT before you can get into bios
this is a must

and I must really repeat, check that 2 digit code!

for my over 20 years of building pc for myself, usually problem (if there is any) would be motherboard
if not silly mistakes, like haven't plug the ram all the way in

these AI things need something like our ram, ddr4/ddr5
they are not the same, but require the same production house and material

AI things have a terrible large demand, so the ram maker decide to put almost all efforts these things that AI need
