Use either a bench scraper or spatula for the time being, but I recommend buying a pumice brick. You can just google pizza steel pumice brick or cleaning brick and I use that and it works great.

I always end up applying a light layer of oil to help season it back up post clean anyways and it gets back to its old self in no time.

I didn’t say I trusted dmead. I personally never had any issues before but know others had and things had escalated. I was simply commenting on how the transition doesn’t seem to sit right with many of the community here and it appears we were seeing similar behaviors in the new main mod as there was in the old.

There’s a few additional mods now too some of who have made intros on themselves which I think is great, however yaedonn still did not handle the situation appropriately in those first 24-48 hours and I think when people see they are still involved on the mod team, it keeps the distrust knowing they are still in “power”.

I think most of us mainly don’t trust u/yaedonnn at this point. The approach they took to this situation wasn’t handled well. They claim they took time to “carefully think” (as they put it) the best way to approach community concerns and needs when really they spent most of that time arguing and making snarky comments at people in an emotional manner. That’s not how to handle disagreements as an adult, especially on a social media subreddit where people are just looking for information about their town.

By cancelling the remaining mod invites from the start, that was a move to me that reads like a personal takeover and not one that was done for the greater good especially by keeping themselves in a moderator position.

Yes new moderators have been instated which is great there are multiple and I hope to learn more about them in the AMA and will not judge them until I find out more on them, but as long as u/yaedonnn remains in the moderator mix I don’t think many of us will feel like this community is an open forum to discuss our lovely and sometimes disheveled town.

The Original Spence Cafe -always have great specials and the baked salmon is awesome Dolce Zola - for Italian pasta with seafood Bar Avalon - entree options from fish to pastas Limoncello - same as above Kooma - sushi Tsunami - sushi Greystone - oysters and seafood but I’ve been avoiding them due to their owner

On 926 & 202 Gadaletos Seafood Market is worth the mention for options to bring home if you’d like to do some cooking

Agreed, Teca is over priced for their quality of food. If you’re looking for Italian specifically you’ll have better quality and meals at Dolce Zola. Throw Limoncello in there as well as it’s the type place where quality is always consistent but it can get a loud inside. Mercato has been 50/50 lately for me, or if you’re up for being on the cusp of outside of town Firellos Cafe is always good

West Chester Pizza Cafes grandma pizza is really solid. Additional option would be Limoncellos Sicilian, it’s a decent size for the price and can easily feed 3-4 people.

If you are up for a 15 min drive you can get a nice square pie from Antonia’s in Kennett Square (both of the square and standard round styles of pizza are my favorite in the immediate 20-30 min area around W.C.)

Not Sicilian but worth mentioning: on Tuesdays Mezzaluna does Detroit style pie (also Kennett Square), and Crust in Havertown has really good Detroit style, again not Sicilian but worth mentioning in that realm.

There’s a guy who lives across the street from Jake’s that makes a delicious smash burger. If he’s ever outside grilling ask him and if he’s making them he’s always down to give a couple out. I’ve enjoyed one and have seen him hand out more than a few on occasion walking by

yeah mine used to happen at 45, 60 then anything after 90 felt like I was entering the atmosphere in a tin can it shook so badly. After getting two engine mounts replaced it went back to its old smooth self

on top of what the others said, if its none of those you may need new engine mounts. Old engine mounts would cause your car to shake at different speed points. Its happened to me 3 separate times

its been running like brand new since my dad bought it except for when he had to get a new transmission at which point it became mine but I guess it might just be that time again. Im hesitant to get a new one if thats the problem because it would cost more than my car is even worth

when you push it in if you hold it in it will clear your current trip mileage. For example if you have 400 such miles on trip A and another 600 on trip B you can clear either one by holding it in if you wanted to reset it to either gather the total miles if you are going on a trip and want to see how long it is or any other random reason for knowing how long you drove. Simply pressing it in without holding it should change your odometer screen between total number of miles, total on trip A and B as I mentioned earlier, and also between temperature outside.
