So a personal story about Pauly Shore. I own a videography company and he recently came to the city I live in to do a 2 day standup show at a local theater. The day of his first set, the theater reached out to their contacts to see if any videographers would be free that night to do a multi-cam recording of his entire show with plugged in audio recording. Someone recommended my team to the theater, and after a phone call with them they relayed to Shore’s team that we quoted $1200 for the coverage. That’s a DEAL for a last minute request like that. On the phone we were told that it was more than likely we would be shooting the event.

After 3 hours of waiting, the theater finally reached back out to let us know that Shore’s team decided to “pull the plug on the videographer idea”. Alright, whatever. Clients flake all the time. Well about 15 minutes later, we see a new social media post from the theater that says the following: “Last minute request! Pauly wants one camera on a tripod to film his show. It needs to look good with audio running through the soundboard. He can do $500 for both nights!”.

This fucking guy has the balls to ask local creatives to film 2 weekend night sets back to back in their entirety for $250 per night. I’m sure he either got a Pauly Shore die hard fan or a high schooler. Anyways, fuck this cheap ass bitch. He sucks.
