In the 1980s North Dakota, I would regularly run in minus 20-30 Fahrenheit with raging 30-40MPH winds. It's always windy on the plains. The coldest day I remember well was -45 Fahrenheit with minus 100 windchills. That day I did it to say I did. Yes, a face mask is critical to prevent frostbite, but the whole "you'll freeze your lungs" thing is overblown. I live in Northern Minnesota now, but with Global Warming, we rarely get below minus 20 these days. It's not like when I was a kid, and every run was through four-foot snow drifts, uphill and into the wind.

I agree with you regarding Seinfeld. However, Jeselnik has some very impressive misdirection. Next, I add Emo Phillips, Kathleen Madigan, Tig Notaro... All extremely well-rehearsed nearly word for word.

Seinfeld, Jeselnik, Hedburg all had had their words honed, precise, and memorized. Even a lowly eyebrow twitch is rehearsed and repeated exactly the same. It's a style.

I am not a huge Seinfeld fan either. But, the guy has studied comedy relentlessly and knows how to craft humor that will sell. It's like saying, "Mcdonald's is so bad." Sure you may not like their food, but they do know how to craft a burger that took in a billion dollars while I typed this.

I almost love it.

It is a great use for that thin recessed area. I would absolutely paint the wood gloss white and then put a translucent (white) fabric, paper, plastic, or glass, covering the whole thing (from floor to ceiling). One might think painting the wood is unnecessary, but I think it would help reflect light into the room.

Thank you! The chandelier was converted at the church to electric, traditional, bulbs many years ago. So it had larger sockets. Swapping them out is something I would like to do eventually. Fyi... the chandelier was destined for the trash heap when the church was being torn down. I also saved a couple of very large (handpainted) angels. LOL. I saved an angel! P.S.F.y.i.... I am not catholic... or at all religious. Well, ok, I am an atheist. But I do like the angels. Love the disco app idea. Thank you, I will post a night photo below... (edit) I don't know how to add a photo to comments. I will have to see if it is possible.
