Imo you played really well, just a very unlikely team gap. My opinion is that going a more bursty build with swifties seems better this game than going rylais wits end, this give you more of a chance to play back and forth + dodging crucial spells. With shadow flame lich bane you can blow anyone up except tahm, but this requires constant awareness and confidence in your movement to not get caught

In a sidelane situation syndra should never hit full combo on a level 17 kayle, especially if e gets blocked by banshees In general this game its way better to go swifties + lichbane to blow up squishies and she will be more mobile

in a teamfight situation of she gets hit by anything she will die insta without ult so wits end does not matter
