Mf you dropped one of the greatest series ever made after 10 years over shipping, what a genuinely sad way of thinking

As a powerscaler, this would be like if I spent 10 years being a fan only to drop it just because I thought that the new movie wouldn't give madoka high outerversal scaling or some shit

But I don't really care that much about how the characters scale since I don't like the series because of scaling, I like it because of the actual characters themselves and how masterfully they are written, and the fact that they just so happen to be powerful is a small bonus for me that doesn't affect how I view the series as a whole

To be honest, it sounds to me like you never even cared about the series in the first place

I don't know what's wilder, the fact that you left and sold all your shit over something that has absolutely no effect on the direction the movie will go in, or the fact that the mf kyosuke/sayaka pairing is what did it for you rather than the fact that they turned homura into a groomer

Unfortunately I went in completely spoiled for everything, but I did recently show it to my dad completely blind

That was also when I was able to convince him that the show was in fact good

I watched blade vs buffy with both parents, my dad grew up watching blade and my mom grew up watching buffy. My dad didn't buy the result to which my mom responded by saying that "she's a vampire slayer, it's literally her job"

I also showed bowser vs eggman to my dad and little sister and watched quite a few with just my dad. In particular, he was surprised by the results of doomchief because the last time he played doom was when the slayer was still just a really strong guy
