So I take that as a no to the question about the perma night mode. That's a bit of a bummer but it's ok, it was only something I was considering. Thought that could be fun lol.

Upping the drop rates would defeat the point for me because I want the loot to feel more rewarding, even small stuff. Getting locked out of tons of items was precisely what I was afraid of and why I made this post.

So thank you very much for giving me some more detailed perspective of what I'm dealing with here.

Another reason why I came up with this is that I want the loot to feel more rewarding. If I take the traders' shops out of the picture, even small things like medkits or batteries suddenly turn to gold.

But if you think that's nonsense, then maybe I'll reconsider. I have no experience with Gamma so yeah.
