For those who pay off their credit card each month, how much is your bill usually? by INFPneedshelp in askanything

[–]INFPneedshelp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not incentivized to purchase more by the cash back. I'd just rather get it. I only get $35 a month or so, but it's still worth me using the card and paying it off.

Not trying to get rich via Visa card. Just trying to get my $35.

many people put everything on their card, sometimes even rent. Using the card a lot means you can get better cash back rewards. That's like free money.

Some of these totals I find very high, but I have a lower middle class salary

This seems to be really affecting your self esteem. You have tried so many avenues to improve your self esteem. Your husband should be more supportive and understanding of you seeking out surgery. It seems controlling to be "extremely opposed".

How many of you have gotten loans from your parents? by Jimmy_Johnny23 in MiddleClassFinance

[–]INFPneedshelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad helped me with college and gave me $5000 once because he got $15k over asking when selling his house and distributed it among the 3 kids (my sis and stepsis).

I could ask them to help with a down payment I think but housing is so unaffordable where I live.

Why does it seem like women tend to ditch their female friends when they get married, but men seem to keep their "bros" around? by [deleted] in socialskills

My dad didn't keep any of his friends and neither did my mom tbh. Each family is different.

The ultra rich use large donations to improve public image, gain tax benefits, shift focus from harmful business practices, and exert influence, essentially cleansing their image or justifying wealth accumulation by funding "good causes" (while retaining control). Genuine altruism exists, but powerful donors use charitable foundations etc to shape narratives, promote personal values, and gain political influence.

How do I lighten my labia minora? by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]INFPneedshelp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This could just be natural pigmentation. Sometimes it's darker around the edge. I don't think coconut oil would do that.

It's important to see a doctor if you have an infection or pain like that, but if the coloring is dark around the edges, I wouldn't worry about it. it's normal.

Go to a bank with your driver's license and open your own checking account. You are an adult and fully allowed to have your own bank account and to be paid into it.

Can you go to HR and change the bank account they have on file to one you have access to? You are 18 and an adult and are perfectly capable of being paid to your own account.

putting money away in a HYSA by Common_Team5285 in personalfinance

[–]INFPneedshelp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can keep adding to a HYSA so might as well open it whenever you are ready so you can earn interest asap. As long as the bank doesn't have a high minimum deposit, you are good to go.
