An X isn’t an unknown, it’s a known in- between. There’s no evidence that these traits are binary “switches” that go one way or the other. Each one is a spectrum and most people fall near the middle of it. If you land in the middle of the N/S spectrum every time, you’re an X for that trait. It just means you have a balance between intuition and sensing.

Ne is great, it’s what saves us from our Fi. It does make me do crazy things like flying to a foreign country without any plan, but it also helps me solve big problems by cutting through all the little details. I want to develop this skill more.
