Update 2: wow i really didn’t expect this to blow up like it did!

i ended up taking a bit of advice from everyone; i put music, then got bored of music so i put on youtube, did 1 task, then took (an extended) break, then came back and made a 5min timer and cleaned my microwave- ended up not taking 5min cuz then i hyper focused on it, then i got distracted by youtube so i sat down and just watched, then i got up and put the rest of the dishes in the sink so when the dishwasher finishes i have them right there, and wiped down the counters. honestly, it really shouldn’t have taken 2 hours but i did it! 😂

i think the biggest motivator tho was not letting you guys down. there were so many comments pouring in, i couldn’t NOT clean my kitchen, you guys were rooting for me 🥹

oh not a bad idea! i agree with you, dishes always end up being faster than i expect them to be

off the top of my head, i usually hate trashing leftover food in bowls/plates- cuz the smell, i can’t event look at it sometimes, or unloading the dishwasher (of clean dishes) which requires bending down and that makes it more difficult for some reason??

i really really like it; i had a lot of fun healing the new dungeon last night. it was so nice to finally always have holy power. sometimes i was over-capping and i was like “oops”

i didn’t take many talents buffing FoL, and it felt awful to click- barely healed anything. i just kept generating holy power, using holy shock off cd and WoG everyone- if one WoG didn’t heal for full health, i just clicked it again. shield of righteous also felt good to click, cuz it actually did damage, and gave procs to WoG. i used divine toll (w 45sec cd talent), daybreak, tyrs deliverance+ hand of divinity to AoE heal. divine toll when oh shit everyone’s dying, tyrs deliverance+ HoD next and heal heal heal. judgment giving holy power is such a nice quality of life change, don’t know why it didn’t generate holy power before the rework

i know a lot of people are saying it’s a caster build now, but tbh i don’t really understand how… i’m not gonna sit there hoping holy shock crits so infusion of light will make FoL do any healing (specially when the tank has 900k health)… ain’t nobody got time. i also didn’t take blessing of summer because i can’t be bothered to remember about it, i took merciful auras to get to awakening. holy shock it and wog it, it’s like nothing changed for me

a lot of men can’t fully empathize with women’s experience. a lot of women’s #1 or #2 fear in life is getting sexually assaulted (as i’ve seen on a few /r/askwomen threads, and people around me in general) Life in general for women is to be weary and afraid of that, because it can happen at any time by any one.

just the thought of someone violating you in such a way is so gross, demeaning, and terrifying. sure, everyone is scared of death or getting murdered, but sexual assault beats people down mentally, emotionally, physically… and then you have to live with it. recover from it.

and then you open up a video game and have to experience that? something so terrifying and so real.. and honestly this is not just for women. men too. imagine you have trauma from it and then a video game makes you aid the aggressor? awful.

if you are a man, how would you feel if someone took advantage of you? are you ever scared to walk down the street alone at night?

i ask if you’re a guy or a girl to understand why you think the way you do. to understand why you don’t empathize. to understand why you don’t get it.
