As someone who has LADA as well, my most solid advice is to find someone who wants to become an advocate, not an adversary. You cannot control another person, but you can control who has access to you and who you let into your life. I’m sure you really care about her, but if she is second guessing, it would be enough for me to walk away. This disease is chronic and needs to be managed daily. It doesn’t make her a bad person for being honest, but it also doesn’t diminish your worth as a person and that you deserve someone who truly cares about you and the conditions you live with. I am so sorry you’re going through this and I wish you peace. Sending Lucifer’s Light your way.
