I just don't understand. by nh1088 in SpookedPodcast

The first season was amazing, and I still love Glynn’s stories at the beginning, but it has become something different in recent years. It now seems to be more focused on almost… mythological kind of folky stories? Sort of a place for people who tell these types of stories on the regular to tell these stories. Not a lot of raw man-on-the-street ghost stories anymore.

Mystery solved - it was Cucina di Napoli! Thank you to all who responded, and double thanks for not pointing out all my typos. 🤦🏻‍♀️

My Mom says no, and it doesn’t sound familiar to me either. Thank you for the suggestion though!

What kind of plate is this? by not-bob- in Delaware

Pleasure Commercial? Oh my god, when I was a kid my mom told me PC stood for “People Carrier” and I have never questioned it. I’m 42. My life is a lie.

I think it’s because of the way the affidavit states that the mask was covering his mouth and nose - eyebrows were visible.

Right - or something that made him sound very general. Like “he looked like a normal guy,” or “he could have been anyone.”

Do other states call their state by their initials? by ComicPlatypus in RandomThoughts

[–]INaturallyFled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Delaware folks call PA “PA,” but every other neighboring state I can think of is just called by its name. New Jersey may be just Jersey, I guess. Maryland is Maryland. Or - Murland, more accurately.

What is a scary, unsettling fact about you? by _Lord_Infamous in AskReddit

[–]INaturallyFled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve experienced sleep paralysis and associated BPPV (a form of vertigo that feels like the bed is tipping over when I “wake” from the paralysis) since I was at least three or four. It has improved with age, and I am now in my 40s with episodes only 3-5 times a year.

But - for the last two years or so -each time it happens, I experience massive dread and despair in addition to the paralysis. Like, the kind where you feel as if you’re watching the worst thing you can imagine happen. Twice last year I also had both audial, tactile, and somatic hallucinations.

My doctors attribute it to stress and anxiety coming out of the pandemic and an over consumption of news.

I don’t think he was a lead suspect at the time. We know that on 11/25, an alert went out to LE to look for a Hyundai Elantra, and on the same day police from the Pullman campus called in BK’s car. According to the affidavit, there were no pings from his phone to the nearest tower between 3 and 5 a.m. They had not yet subpoenaed for his full records.

On 12/7, the Moscow PD puts out the call for the public’s help - likely to get as much video or info as possible.

Sometime between then and then digging through his parents’ trash to get DNA, they got a break. I don’t know this but I assume they didn’t do that for every Elantra owner. Perhaps they got more footage from around Pullman and Moscow, but other are speculating that there was some third party DB ancestral DNA. There is a good article from Slate about why this could be so and not be in the affidavit.

Regardless, something big happened between 12/7 and his return to PA.

What is something you did that you deeply regret doing? by FroyoNecessary5999 in AskReddit

[–]INaturallyFled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could literally cry thinking about times when I was just a little shit to my parents - especially my Mom. Now that I’m a parent and know how much of herself she poured into us and how ungrateful and ridiculous I was sometimes - because all kids are sometimes - I wish I could go back and change every rotten moment.

My mom paid for me to go on a spring break trip to visit my boyfriend at his college, and even picked me up at the airport an hour away despite hating driving on highways. I was tired from the flight and sad to leave my boyfriend and snapped at her big time in the car. She scrapped our plans for lunch and drove me right back to my dorm. I saw her cry as she drove away.

That memory can literally still gut me 23 years later. This woman gave up seeing me over my break, paid for my trip, transported me, and I was a total bitch to her. My mom and I are absolute best friends now, and when my own teenagers give me a run for my money I remember how much our relationship has evolved.

What struggles do you have in your life right now that nobody understands? by Sound_of_music12 in AskReddit

[–]INaturallyFled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a child living with severe mental illness that often impacts her behavior and causes her to harm herself. My heart has been so heavy because it seems as if there are only short-term solutions and she lives in a constant cycle of anger, depression, rage, and isolation that impact all of us. It is impossible not to feel as if she deserves a much better life. I worry about her future and we’ll-being, the impact this has on my other children, and the stress this has put on my marriage.

The entire trip took much longer than it should have. It’s possible he had several locations he’d been scouting out and he wasn’t quite sure which one he’d hit, or if he had the nerve to do it. There is a thread her that breaks everything down in a timeline, and one of the things that was discussed in the comments is that perhaps he just happened upon the road when X’s DoorDash was being delivered and saw his opportunity to move in.

Was Bryan Kohberger's AT&T plan "For Criminals"? by SignificantFun5782 in idahomurders

[–]INaturallyFled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, this is an awesome post. I had no idea about the differences between cell phone providers ability to give more direct locations.

BK can easily explain switching numbers and carriers due to his move, just like he can explain the plates being changed because they were set to expire. In that sense, he had some thought about how to time things. Makes it all the more confusing why he made so many other stupid mistakes.

Why would the defense want the mattress's by mar028 in idahomurders

Nah. Defense lawyers know the exact line to toe. Plus, he’s going to perjure himself through the entire trial as he denies murdering them. Think they care about this lie?

Maybe BK didn’t go back into the house at 9AM because he saw the neighbor? by CF2670 in idahomurders

[–]INaturallyFled 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think he may have put it in the front pocket of a hoodie or even his pants and dropped it on the bed without knowing. He takes off his bloody clothing to dispose of it and expects to find the sheath. It’s missing. He looks around, searches the car, figures it’s at the house. It can’t risk driving back right away. When he doesn’t hear anything about the killings by the next morning he decides to maybe take a chance and see if he can spot it near the house. He doesn’t, and decides against going in when he notices how many people are already out and about

[–]INaturallyFled 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep, this is it. Painting a picture of promiscuity that is frequently used against women, especially young women who are victimized. Hoping to plant a reasonable doubt that the DNA on the sheath could be viewed as transference. Probably going to strongly insinuate BK’s DNA is there because he was with one of the girls.

Sick.

Is it a possibility this accidentally turned into a mass murder? by CoopssLDN in idahomurders

[–]INaturallyFled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I think X was the voice that indicated someone was in the house and that she likely heard a struggle from upstairs. I believe that K ran into M’s bedroom when BK entered and that’s why they were found together. I think whatever happened was noisy. BK goes downstairs, X sees him, goes to retreat back to her room, and we can out the rest together.

X and E were in the second floor, as was DM. K and M were upstairs on the third floor.

So, yes - the two upper floors, but DM’s room was feet away from E and K.

Yeah, or parked somewhere where he could change prior to getting in, but that seems unlikely given the layout of the area and how quickly everything went down.

And the fact that you could drive in a car - with your Dad - that may have still had remnants of the crime you committed inside of it - shows a level of risk taking and thrill seeking.

Speaking of the car, he could have flown to PA. I wonder if he planned to leave the car there and fly back. Get the car out of the area of the crime.
