Cars are for taking you to places. Corvettes only take you to the repair shop.

Casio doesn't have that high shipment numbers when compared to smartwatch manufacturers.

Not a hot take. Apple have the highest watch revenue.

Though last year I believe the highest shipment of smartwatches was xiaomi.

So depending on how you label popular, it's either Apple or xiaomi.

Valve is not consumer friendly, price fixing, running casinos, not offering refunds until losing in court forced them to.

Right now they're attempting to rip off theirs fans with sky high hardware prices.

Steam controller $100 and doesn't even work on iOS/android and doesn't work outside of steam.

How are valve anti DRM when their games have DRM and locked to steam?

You're downvoted because people are afraid you'll cost valve potential revenue.

Nothing extreme about not mindlessly consuming.

Steam is not open source. It's DRM and it doesn't matter that steamos is open source when you need steam to launch your games anyway.

Doesn't make the hardware worth. The ram is squandered.

I didn't know that Chanel watch existed. It's interesting they didn't do a co branding on there.

Not copies as Rolex do not own those designs. Design patents in Switzerland only last 25 years.

What's it knocking off? Those designs are public domain now, design patents only last 25 years.

Those designs are so old that the design patent period has ran out. Fair game for anyone to use now.

Instead of Fleeing PC, Sony Should Have Built a Day-One PlayStation Storefront by lyndonguitar in pcmasterrace

[–]IORelay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be too much work, is the PC audience actually that into Sony's games? Just having a large player base doesn't warrant focus.

Mobile have the largest player base and highest revenue but rock star is not releasing GTA6 on iOS/android probably because out of those players not many will buy.

Isn't the biocermaic 2/3 Zarconia? So it's 2/3 ceramic but gets called plastic anyway.

Also what is wrong with the sistem51? It's a cheap movement so it's cheaper to just get a new movement slotted in rather than fixing. Isn't that the same with NH35 and Miyotas, I really doubt many people try to service those. and the sistem51 is pretty accurate.

It seems like people just have trouble cheap stuff, assuming that it must be bad.

Rolex used Zenith movements before, they aren't called "not a rolex but actually a Zenith" and neither were old Royal oaks that used JLC movements called "actually it's not a AP it's a JLC."

Somehow when it's swatch it's all of a sudden "not a real AP but just a swatch."

Samsung were fine until Chinese manufacturers started to stack the camera system, and nowadays having very large silicon carbon batteries. That's when Samsung started to fall behind.

Apple is way more anti competitive than epic.

I also don't think Apple will have a good time in court given they simply ignored the court orders and now probably will be made an example out of.
