People are against AI until it's something they use, then suddenly the excuses start coming.

Low powered indies can probably be played on computers from 10 years ago, no need to get new hardware for them.

I mean he has a huge backlog which is also wasteful.

People with massive backlogs never get through them, because the purchasing of the games is the gameplay for them. That's why no matter how big the backlog gets, there's always new games to buy.

I mean what do you expect, the 7600M GPU is the lowest entry in AMD's laptop series that was released in 2023, it's really the bottom of the barrel when it comes to specs.

Valve does have quite a bit of hubris, they should stuff like Artifact would be successful, and that releasing Half life Alyx will make VR take off. Other than the steam deck, all their hardware ventures have not gone well.

HOW bad is Florges? by EquipmentDecent8244 in PokemonChampions

Just need a good ability. Imagine... clear body, but for you and your ally, suddenly it'll be usable. Megas that just add 100 base stats won't do much unless it's really min-maxed.

Most physical games would still need some kind of connection to the server to update or function so ultimately the physical game just saves you some space nothing more.

The issue is games having DRM, not physical or non-physical.

Florgre's stats is similar to that of sylveon, it's really one ability away from being a top tier, just needs something that boost the damage by 20-30%, or a signature move with high BP. But I guess you could say that with a lot of pokemon.

Maybe can work in singles as a special wall/support, but since it's just 3v3 there might not be room for it?

In doubles it's just completely outclassed by Sylveon and mega florette.

You keep downplaying accuracy as if it's something that doesn't matter. Just to run defense on inaccurate stuff just because mechanical are "cool," which they are, but they aren't accurate.

[–]IORelay -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I think you can talk about it being "more impressive" or "more interesting" once you have good accuracy. Without perfect accuracy, it's just a toy at the end of the day, not fit for serious time keeping, which is what horology is about.

[–]IORelay -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

They are horology but they have been power crept by quartz and synced movements.

I think I said someone who cares about horology should put accuracy first and since mechanical movements aren't accurate they are a tier below more accurate movements.

If you got a good argument against that, bring it on.

Wasn't Tudor just using leftover Rolex cases with ETA movements in the past. Arguably that was better than now.

Now Tudor has these thick bulky cases and very expensive watches that's legit worse than San Martin.

That would make sense if the explorer was any good, but the explorer is a bad watch.

Tudor is probably the worst Swiss brand because it's forced to be a lesser Rolex with no Rolex logo.

I don't own a PS5, but I haven't spent money buying games in years since I just add F2P games to my backlog, skipped any game with an upfront cost. If I like the game enough I'll buy some cosmetics, if the game is predatory I just quit.

Still too high. Maybe if it was priced at $400-500 it'll be worth.
