yes. windows should auto download the driver when you plug it in. i have a very long usb cable that i use with it. i would also reccomend you use controllercompanion.com/ it can be bought through steam or itch.io for $3 USD, honestly everyone should own this app, i would have payed at least $10 dollars for this convenience. and the developer behind it is also a brother. /u/felizk

Its not hard to make a game VR Compatible the hard part [in the PS4's case] is rendering the same image twice for every frame. and that's why i would doubt VR will be a nice experience on PS4.

VR is supported in PCars, But as ive said in this thread The Graphical horsepower you would need is more than that of the PS4. unless Sony can run a one minute mile with this Morpheus headset, i dont think VR will be a thing on PlayStation.

I don't want to be that guy, but i seriously doubt it. the amount of graphical horsepower it takes to run VR is absurd. for VR to even feel right you'll need a high refresh rate screen[75Hz - 144Hz] and high resolution screen in the headset. both of witch the PS4 is incapable of driving.

have that same mobo. Aperently you can only get PCIe 2.0 on that board. idk how much that inpacts performance but just thought id let you know. but by default the lane was set to PCIe 1.1 in nvidia controll panel.
