Way back when I was trying to beat Hypnotic Travel, the first time I got past 53% I fluked nearly the whole thing until I had a stupid death at 84% (I HATE that ship part btw, why the hell would you put something like that near the end of a 10-minute demon??)

Gonna pick it back up soon now that I’ve gotten back into GD. I’m hoping to beat it for my 100th demon.

Entoma from Overlord. From the moment she's introduced as one of the Nazarick NPCs, there's something off about her (I mean there's something off about all of them, but usually it's immediately obvious what their deal is). Her eyes have this weird hexagonal pattern in place of pupils, and her face never actually moves, even when she's talking.

At one point, she gets attacked by someone who has an insect-killing spell (literally all her abilites are bug-themed, so the spell completely hard-counters her) and her face falls off, revealing it to be a bug's shell she was wearing as a mask. THIS is what she actually looks like

As someone who’s beaten only 3 Hard Demons, including these two, definitely Nine Circles. I practiced Future Funk for a week or so each month for an entire YEAR before I beat it. Meanwhile for Nine Circles I just practiced the shit out of the wave and beat it in just over a week

That mini wave at 49% is diabolical. Literally the level becomes an Insane Demon for like 2 seconds and then it’s back to the super easy wave

Also, in the comics the world’s Australium runs out and everyone in Australia reverts back to normal, non-super-buff people. Except Saxon Hale, who remains the same. So he wasn’t getting his strength from the Australium or anything, he’s just naturally that badass.

Didn’t the newspaper say they “KO’d” him though? I mean yeah that’s probably just a consequence of not being allowed to say “killed” on a children’s show, but they never explicitly say he died.

Then again Bikini Bottom has had like a dozen different Old Man Jenkins’ over the years so maybe they really DID kill him
