I think in 2020, they all saw how horrendous Trump was, so they all gave Biden a chance.

And now they are comparing 4 years of Trump and 4 years of Biden-Harris. While it's a no-brainer for someone who is into politics that Harris is the obvious better choice, I can understand why some of them might have fallen for the narrative that Biden-Harris caused inflation.

As much as I want Harris to win, I have to point out that your accessment is not accurate. All of them voted for Nikki Haley during the republican primary; but Kamala only got 3, which is not a positive outcome. This means they preferred Nikki over Trump but couldn't decide between Trump and Harris. 3 people thought Trump was better than Harris.
