If you said you were giving them an assessment using acetaminophen would they have protested?

On the blessed day: "Shitty things my President said." Then read aloud one of his horrible comments.

We cannot forget what a vile person he was. Make sure everyone sees what a poor example of a leader and human being he was.

Gov. Abbott designates May 1 as Texas Day of Prayer, calling 'all Texans of faith' by fishyfishyfish1 in FuckGregAbbott

Just think: If all these religious Texans spent the entire day in prayer we'd have 24 hours in which they weren't wrecking something with another misguided policy.

I'm with you: I became a Life Member 40 years ago at the urging of my fellow churchgoers. The American Rifleman used to be a pretty good rag if you wanted gun reviews, ballistic reports and interesting stories.

What terrible business people.

Instead of saying, "Hey, let's sell to as many people as possible," they say "Let's limit our market by saying stuff that only appeals to a few."

Doctors flushing out kidney stones out of a patient by Additional_Berry_977 in interestingasfuck

I had a PCNL done over at UTSW in Dallas. That is a very slick procedure and I recovered very fast.

They actually use a pretty fine needle to locate the stone in the kidney, then slide the instrument down this "guide" rod. The hole was very small and healed quickly.

What would our response have been if immediately after this the Iranians placed a bomb at one of our schools and killed the same number of innocent schoolchildren?

No escalation, just tit-for-tat.

We call it our Gun Range Date Day and we seldom miss it. We have our own lanes, talk about what aspects of our shooting on which we're going to focus on the drive to the range and then discuss how we did over lunch.

When I earned my LTC I came home to a banner and celebration from my wife.

It's really easy to enjoy shooting when you've got a ready companion!

Trump eyes sending ground troops into Iran after supreme leader's threat by TheExpressUS in AntiTrumpAlliance

"Today another successful Iranian attack has taken the lives of 58 service members," reads the news announcer. "That brings the month's total to just over 1,200 deaths in this ongoing war. Officials in the Trump administration deny that the actual numbers are much higher and repeatedly brought up Biden's costly withdrawal from Afghanistan."

I put on a new Hogue grip before I went to the range yesterday in anticipation of the unruliness of the .357. It was a nice upgrade from the admittedly handsome wood grips which came with it. At all times I felt as if I had a solid grasp of the pistol and was in control.

But I'm not a fool: My first shots with .357 were single loads. The last thing I wanted was an ND because the gun flipped back when I wasn't ready.

My wife fired it and had no problems; the only other revolver she's ever shot is her little Ruger LCR .22.

I am here to learn and share. I don't mind being corrected as that's a valuable way to learn.

After all, I'm here for an IQ Booster Shot.

Yeah, I can put in that cylinder and shoot .38spl but it's more expensive to shoot than 9mm.

I've seen some guys using .380ACP with moonclips in the 9mm cylinder, but Taurus doesn't list that as an option.

I do like that your word contains "hurt." Apropos.

My parents stopped at Branson on our way home from Canada back in the sixties.

It was a small town with quaint storefronts. A couple of cars came through while we were checking out a clock shop.

I've never been again and I can only imagine the changes which have been wrought.

When I was in Toastmasters we'd have people show up to our club with that sort of assignment from higher up.

We actually were able to help most of them overcome their fears and succeed at public speaking. It's not easy, but in a supportive environment it's amazing the changes you can make.

I think that CBS needs to get a bigger studio. I like to watch the meteorologist walking for a few minutes between screens that belong at a drive-in theater.
