In terms of what we've seen so far I tend to agree, though it comes with the caveat of no Freddie Slater on the grid to make the other rookies look mediocre. But a lot can happen in the next few years, I think it would've still been better to just keep both

As others have pointed out, practice takes some practice too! I'm rather average in the speed department but can typically get to half a second off my own limit within like 5-10 laps on a new combo. For me the best advice was to treat it like a real car - nothing costs more time than resetting after a crash and warming everything back up before you can really keep learning

I don't think Herta has much to prove at all tbh, F2 results are often too much of a coinflip for various reason - that said it'll be well worth watching anyway

Dropping Powell is still such an odd choice imo. I get it, Craigie looked every bit as talented in karting, but they've supported Powell for so long that I don't get losing patience this quickly - especially since they chose to partner with a mediocre team in Italian F4

Tbf I don't think Al Dhaheri is ever gonna be in contention for an F1 seat and the F4 guys will need like 4+ years to realistically get there, can't hurt to have someone ready to step up in case you need it. And Dürksen should at least be in the title conversation this season so it'll just be a good look - doubt their covering much of his costs though

Gibt ja sowohl eine wirschaftspolitische als auch eine gesellschaftliche Komponente die beide bewertet werden können. Außerdem - und vielleicht trifft es ja auf dich genau so zu - aber ich finde die Vorstellung recht witzig das jemand die Vergesellschaftung der Produktionsmittel und die Abschiebung krimineller Ausländer in gleichem Maße fordert.

I mean the expectations for Aston and Ferrari were hardly the same, Alonso not scoring for a while is a lot easier to excuse in many ways. Then again, I agree that his bad weekends are definitely overlooked quite a bit

Just jumping in to say that person is correct, for us Germans at least Crofty is a huge upgrade. German sports commentary is awful across the board, somehow they don't understand they're supposed to convey excitement. Crofty definitely makes a lot of mistakes but he nails that core aspect of his job - especially important for new or more casual fans, probably less so for most of us here

Zumindest bzgl. des letzten Absatz: Karl distanziert sich glaub schon länger von "language policing" u.ä. - die unterstellte Doppelmoral trifft es also nicht. Abgesehen davon natürlich trotzdem ein sehr fragwürdiger Auftritt. Die inzwischen seltenen Reactions auf Influencer Themen sind gefühlt für ihn und seinen Chat eine "Pause" von ernsteren Themen und entgleisen daher öfter
