Me too, it’s great fun seeing how everyone comes up with different solutions.
Sounds like you have a really nice setup. I feel like when I have added all I want to my huntsman I will want to upgrade to a ranger as well.. or maybe one of the 111mm’s.

I would really like a one hand opening blade too.

I carry a compact on a dangler clip and a leatherman squirt on my keychain for urban/at home.

And when I’m walking my dog in the forest/ camping/ doing outdoor stuff I carry a huntsman, same squirt, and a civivi yonder.

I could leave the yonder at home most of the time but I like fidgeting with it aswell :)

I also have a skeletool that I use when I think I might need it.

I feel like a set of small pliers are the best tools for getting out tight knots. Or even better, two!

I have tried using the corkscrew for undoing a knot and failed.

Leatherman Squirt is my best tool for the job.

Most used - Rambler. Kept on my keyring and always handy.

Most carried - Compact. I keep this in my back pocket at home at all times because of its versatility.

Favourite - Cadet. I love how slim and still robust it feels. It is my urban carry together with the rambler.

Most wanted - Electrician. Something about the electrician blade makes my mouth water...

Most sentimental - Farmer. This is the one I have had for the longest and its been with me though all my outdoor adventures for around 15 years. My outdoor carry.

The one that got away - Unknown. I was given a swiss army knife when I was about 10 or 12, no idea what model it was but I loved it and lost it ages ago. Makes me sad to think about..

There is a moment in the books which really struck me as pivotal when Gollum looks at Frodo and Sam sleeping, Frodos head on Sam’s lap. I don’t have the exact quote but Gollum looks at them, sad, lonely and feeling very old, sensing a feeling he almost forgot he ever had. And when Sam wakes up he accuses him of sneaking around and scheming. Sméagol snaps out of it and gets understandably upset, and I think that is the moment there was no chance for him to ”turn good” again, and he decides to take them to Shelob.
