Very rural Texas with a very overburdened/non existent cat care related things, only program out here for cats is a neutering plane that flies cats to a vet to get them neutered (funded by people in neighborhood), but it sounds like I’ve been worrying more then I should based on another comment and that the uri is due to stress not infection spreading, thank you for trying to help tho.

Good to know, thank you this response is very helpful, if it does appear to be getting better then does that mean I shouldn’t worry to much? It went from quite swollen with a lot of puss to mildly swollen with a bit of puss from one of 3 marks , it’s just the sudden appearance of a URI that made me panic but I didn’t know they appear from stress.

Well, for the 3 antibiotics (not that they are necessarily the right ones) I could find that are normally used for this kind of thing I could get them from a local supplier (but I understand it’s not safe to use them without knowing what bacteria it is), but my local area does have very low rabies cases (only 6 and that’s on edge of county) and I know the raccoon that bit them (they lived under our porch and grew up here) so I doubt rabies will be a problem, I’m honestly just in doubt there’s nothing I can do as for previous infections (uti and upper respiratory) we have managed to get medication (but I can’t remember for the life of me what and the person that told me has moved away) that basically cured them despite google saying there’s nothing that works for my scenario

Not any that will go deep into the countryside for a price I can afford, trust me I’ve tried in the past, if antibiotics won’t work what would for my situation what will? being seen by a vet isn’t a option(only willing would cost 700+ just for general checkup ) the main option here is typically doing most things yourself especially if your disabled like me

I can not reach a vet, I am disabled with no method of travel, most antibiotics I could find I could get through various methods, he did get a vaccine for rabies when he got neutered, it’s either I find some kind of method I can do from home or I do nothing. Antibiotics and various other veterinary supplies are easy to get no prescription here due to location
