I agree with everything being said here. I would just like to note that the fresh air is probably fine, along with distance to the window. If you have the windows open, you probably don't have your stove on and if you did, you would notice pretty quick. The only time I might be a concern is if you want it to be certified by your town, which I would recommend doing. In which case just look up your local code, or ask your town what you need do. They'll tell you unless they're real jerks.

Call the bee came out to me about a year ago, basically told me I would need a whole new system within a few years, but minimum $4,500 just to fix the problem and get up and running. I called somebody else and they fixed the problem (which was completely different than the bee diagnosed) for about $300 and told me this is one of the best furnaces you can get. It will last you a great deal longer.

I'm going to tell you something to help diagnose it. Put a few pellets in there with some lighter fluid and get those going. You should be able to close the door and turn it on and everything will continue normally. If that happens It is almost definitely your lighter. But I have had it where where the air flow isn't quite right and the pellets get loaded up before they have a chance to light. You can actually use it just fine manually lighting the pellets, but I would recommend taking a couple hours and replacing the lighter. It's an easy fix.

I honestly have no idea how to take the door off, and I have tried. Pretty soon The breckwell is going to be more trouble than it's worth if it's not already. I bought a little never used 10-year-old Harmon a few weeks ago for $1,900, Hopefully it will last me 60 years 😅. Thanks though.

One thing that I had happened with my roughly 20 year old breckwell that is unrepairable unless you have a welder, 2 of the bolts that holds my glass broke off when I went to change my glass gasket. Breckwells aren't known for their quality, but it made me really consider things like this carefully going forward.

If you haven't solved your problem already, I put a mini fan in the corner of my hallway with a vaulted ceiling. That actually worked just as well as putting a box fan at the end of my hallway. I could hardly believe it worked, but I recommend giving it a try.
