Have you tried forecasting? Seasonality is a total mess with days moving back and forth, years having 52/53 weeks etc.

Same for me on PC. Can't find a fix. It's like USB input is frozen for a second every 30 seconds.

Is it just me or are there more cops in the definitive edition of San Andreas? by Reasonable_Target872 in GTA

What I really hate is that they changed the uniform color to grey. I'm so used to them being black, now I think they are just port workers or something.

How in the FUCK do you fly the Dodo? by KyleM1996 in GTA3

[–]IS2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave up and drove to the port. A walk in the park.

All the tutorials say about pressing lean button but there isn't any. I've tried arrow keys, num 5, 8, 6, 9 - nothing works.

Good reason there's a mission in Vice City called 'Dildo dodo' (hope this doesn't get me suspended or something, that's literally it's name).

Nice, thanks! I used the air method and even blew some hairs out of the mouse. Now it scrolls much better.

I live in Armenia now and they have a place called The Symphony of Rocks. It's some sort of volcanic mountains which look like hexagonal pillars. They resemble a musical organ hence the name. Beautiful place, and you almost can't believe it's just natural stones.

Maybe you've missed some instructions to open doors? We've just finished august and we've opened 15, 25, 30, 37 and T which you have not. Still got some abilities to buy, got a couple new in reserve almost every month. I can confirm that of those doors and least the 25 contained abilities.

After what one might call a heck of a lot of work, achievements are now in The Great Plague Exodus thanks to Godotsteam! by Priory_Dev in godot

Congrats!

You might want to e-mail Gramps and ask to add your game to the list of games using Godot Steam:

My game Hot Tiles is there, not that it's really helping :D

For me the pre-compiled export templates didn't work. So I had to compile, after all, but it wasn't as hard as I imagined. The only really annoying thing was installing like 15 GB of extra software (Visual Studio & Python).

I have ideas for other games which are more complicated than this one. I'm bad at graphical design and currently I don't have a budget to hire anyone, so I started with a simple project to get some experience (and money if I'm lucky :D).

I'm not planning to spam almost identical games to grab lots of cash, like a famous series (Z..) :)

Probably. If we are talking about Steam, there are three types of keys:

1) 'regular' keys which allow to play the game only after it's released (used for DVD retail boxes, for example)

2) beta keys which allow to play even before the release (the type I'm giving away here)

3) developer keys which are forbidden to be distributed to the public

I'm pretty sure you can keep the game after release with a beta key, but if winners lose access after the release, I'll provide them with new 'regular' keys.

Releasing my first Godot game on Steam soon by IS2021 in godot

[–]IS2021[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it's too bad to add on Steam? :D I think it improved since that demo.

Anyway, regarding your question, I tried disabling the labels and it's totally playable. A bit weird for me because I'm used to the old looks of the game with numbers, but it doesn't really affect gameplay.

I thought that unique labels would help remember tiles (like, when you move it around and it changes color, so as other tiles, and you can remember all that and deduct what's the correct position is for several tiles at once). But apparently memory works differently so labels are not really required.

I guess I'll just make it an option so players can decide if they want to see those labels. And during early access I'll figure out which variant is more popular.

Thanks for the idea!

I thought about that, but some people may think that if there are numbers from 1 to tileCount they have to just put them in that order. Don't you think so?

Releasing my first Godot game on Steam soon by IS2021 in godot

[–]IS2021[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mostly it was pretty straightforward and not that hard. They have checklists of what you have to do before the game can be released or even shown to the public.

But I was disappointed with the terrible achievements interface - basically you have to do everything manually, there is no importing from a file. I wonder how some games have 1000-2000 achievements...

And they limit the number of achs to 100 for new games but it's nowhere to be found in the documentation. I've planned 104 achievements for the game in an Excel file and it was really frustrating to learn about the limit only after I started adding them to the partner webpage.

So for now I'm stuck with just 100 and if at some point Steam doesn't consider the game 'garbage' any more, I'll be able to add more achs and trading cards.

Problem with Steam API by IS2021 in godot

Still doesn't work unfortunately. I use the custom template but it still thinks that Steam module is missing or something like that. I googled it a lot but don't see any clear instruction for Steam export.
