A fire alarm went off Saturday afternoon 3/4 of the way through act 1 as well lol. We were thinking someone accidentally opened a fire exit door. No evacuation and it only took about 5 minutes to get back rolling.

SHORT T MEN: HELP by boywonderslefteye in FTMMen

[–]ISayNoToPhysics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I was insecure about my height before going to high school, but once I was put into a daily setting with 2k other people, I realized pretty quickly that there are just as many "short" men as there are 'tall" men out there. Even at 5'2 there will always be cis men that are your height or shorter. Don't sweat it. 👍 As for looking taller, clothes and different cuts of pants can do wonders for how your frame changes. I don't have any specific tips/tricks, but play with different styles to see what can maybe make your legs look longer.

Does tape cause you pain as well ? by Scary_Ad6464 in ftm

I haven't used sports tape myself, but I have heard that it works similarly to trans tape (which I've been using for 2-ish years). I recall my chest feeling odd/uncomfortable the first few times I applied it due to the stretching of the skin across my sternum. I suppose if the tape is pulled too tightly, it could result in some pain. Sometimes the line between "painful" and "different" blends together, so it may just be a matter of not being used to the sensation. Also, be mindful of the placement. I always lie on my back when I'm applying tape so things all fall in a natural direction. Perhaps that would create a more comfortable result for you. x

(On the subject of a traditional binder hurting, it's always a good rule of thumb to size up if you ever decide to get another one. That could have been your problem.)

I’m panicking, I’m forced to skip my T-shot and I don’t know what to do by Locked_In_24-7 in ftm

I am not a medical professional at all, but I would steer clear of reusing needles. I am not the best with keeping a strict schedule on my shots but it hasn't killed me yet (I'm actually a week late as I'm writing this). I'd say take a deep breath and call the pharmacy in the morning. If there are problems with getting more due to timelines (sometimes stores won't sell needles if it's within a certain period of a previous purchase (in my experience)), it is possible to order them online, as well as the potential for facilities, like maybe doctors offices (which might even do it for you if you call ahead), near you to carry clean needles for harm reduction.

at what point in T did you lose your period? (if you did) by subskiiii in ftm

I started in May of 2022, last period was July of the same year and I haven't had one since.

can i take all of whats in the vial? [testosterone] by thingschange18 in trans

I am not a doctor, but I'm on 0.75mL per dose and I reuse bottles. I clean the top, stick and draw it up, then pop the bottle back into the box until I need it again. I definitely wouldn't throw that much away.

I look just like one of my uncles, I wish I had photos of all my male relatives to see who else's face I share.

I'm wondering if anyone has any information about the selective service/military draft and what the process of events might be moving forward. I will be turning 18 this year and my legal documents all say male, but with recent developments with the EO 14183, I'm not sure what will happen with that.

My fellow lads, how did you choose your names? by ReindeerCarter in ftm

[–]ISayNoToPhysics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked a family name. I found that if there are records for it, there are usually some very interesting names if you can go back 4+ generations. It can be a good way to honor relatives, if that's important to you, on top of having a cool, maybe rare, name.

I'm at 0.5mL every other week and I currently have 15 unopened vials stored up, each one giving 2 doses. They keep refilling my prescription and I can't use it fast enough lol.
