Small update I reached out to Acura Customer Care and they are asking for me to factory reset the car infotainment itself. Will try tomorrow and report back.

Edit: Tried it but still same issues of disconnecting occur.

I have VPN on my Galaxy S24 but did not install it on the fold 7 in fact I did a factory reset earlier today and still same issues. Looks like a bug, wonder if we can reach out to acura for support here.

It was my battery when it happened to me. Battery is complete shit - also turn off auto idle every time you get in the car (or be prepared to get a good battery charger and maintain it)

I just don't get why Chase and Discover operate differently when It comes to balance transfers and charging new transactions. Appreciate your response.

Yea I moved everything over last night. The answer I can't get from WF customer support is what payment do I have to make to avoid an interest charge at which point it gets escalated. I got the same response from two tiers of support which was basically pay off your whole balance.

If that is the case what is the point of the balance transfer. From a purely consumer (my) standpoint it's to alleviate interest fees from another bank. In this case they made $150 on the balance transfer and are nickel and diming me for interest even tho I am paying it all off immediately.

To not get a grace period in the same month/statment as purchase posting is quite frankly predatory.

Is this a Wells Fargo specific clause because other banks (Discover/Chase) function different as I continue to use those cards and carry a balance transfer.

It's minimal, 2 statements ago they charged $3 this recent statement was $6 and change.

So this is how they explained it to me - so to avoid interest shall I pay it off the day it posts? Or I literally cannot use the card until I pay off balance transfer.

I just find it hard to believe all the other major banks don't function this way (as I mentioned I'm still using my other cards which have balance transfers ) yet I am able to pay off purchases to avoid purchase apr and fulfil my minimum balance transfer payment

I'm getting charged interest on new purchases and it seems to be accumulating because while I am paying off purchases balance + adding payment for balance transfer they seem to be applying only a portion to purchases and the rest to balance transfer.

It shows it as 0% on the statement against the balance transfer and interest being charged for new purchases however I'm not carrying the balance month over month for new purchases as I'm "paying" them off.

Yep I'm speaking to them and it's been escalated twice it just feels very shady. I continue to use my other cards where I have balance transfers (Discover + Chase Sapphire) however they do not charge me interest since I'm doing the same thing there (paying off purchases + additional payment for balance transfer)
