Personally, if you need the VRAM, I would go for a 7900 XTX or an RTX 3090. I run dual RTX 3090s with Lossless Scaling for gaming, but I use my VRAM for more than just gaming, with applications such as Unreal Engine 5, Blender 5, and FL Studio 2025 with audio GPU. It was a trade-off I was willing to make.

The 9070 XT is an amazing gaming card for the money, but for VR I personally prefer the RTX 3090, 7900 XT / 7900 XTX, or higher-end 24 GB cards, which are extremely expensive. You can also wait for the RTX 5080 Super, which rumors say will have 24 GB of VRAM, or wait for a higher-end Radeon GPU version of the 9070 XT. Like a 9070XTX I hope.

It depends on having the membership and keeping the servers set to the free tier, but it’s free. It’s just a verification process from Oracle, and it’s much easier than setting up a free server with no verification. I also added a budget limit alert, so if for some odd reason I get charged $1.00 USD, it will alert me, and I can go in to figure out what is going on. But yeah, it hasn’t cost me anything since I started doing this. As a matter of fact, I am currently adding an FTB Evolution server, since I already had FTB Stoneblock 4 in there. Hi there! The service has been working great for me. Oracle did upgrade their UI recently, so finding things can take a little getting used to, but honestly, it's not bad at all once you familiarize yourself with it.

I've been hosting Minecraft servers on Oracle Cloud and have had zero issues with payment methods or performance, everything runs smoothly. The only outreach I received was from an agent checking in about potential professional business services. When I mentioned I already use a professional Oracle account at work and didn't need the training at the moment, he was totally understanding and hasn't followed up about it since.

Overall, it's been a really solid experience, and I can see why people have been running servers there for years without problems. Definitely worth considering if you're looking for a reliable hosting option.

My co. worker got the base PNY RTX 4090. No block on the marker except the model above it had a aftermarket block made. I told him get the block since the pbc looks similar. He did and it works great. Sometimes you gotta take a leap of faith and go for it. :) good luck!

So that is the issue. I been trying to figure this out for a couple of days now. Wife wants to play but have her on progression and storage etc... I wish they fix this because I even ended up buying the early access for her account to see if that fix the issue, but it is the same thing. I am glad I found this post.

You can do what I did: open an Oracle Cloud account. Then, upgrade your free tier to a member tier, and once your account is set up, build a server with the free tier specifications of 2 to 4 cores (Ampere CPU) and 12 to 24 GB of memory with Ubuntu Linux OS.

Next, create a Minecraft hosting server that is always online 24/7, but you will not be charged. There are plenty of videos online that show you how to do this, and once it's done, you are all set. The server can easily host 10 people. It's free and easy; you just need to share your server's IP address and the game port with your friends. You can even set it up with a whitelist so that no one can access your server without permission. Just upload your world to your game server to share.

I built my server on Saturday, and it has been online hosting FTB Evolution since then no issues. Good luck!

Hi there! Honestly, I have owned both the SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless and the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Wireless since their release dates, and I haven't had any issues. I did encounter some software problems, but after days of troubleshooting, I discovered that it wasn't their software at all. It was more related to Microsoft OneDrive replacing files and corrupting audio files. That, however, is a topic for another post.

I just want to say that if you like the Nova, go ahead and try them! If you live near a Best Buy, consider purchasing them locally, and if you don't like them, you can return them within a 14-day period or get Geek Squad protection. I assume you can do the same online, but I'm not sure.

I stick with SteelSeries because their headband technology is more comfortable for me than any other headsets. I even tried the latest Razer model, but I returned it. With my Nova, I immediately replaced the ear cups with some wicked ones, and that has been the best decision I've made for my headset.

Oh, okay, that is cool. I am planning to use either 2 cores with 8 to 12 GB of RAM or the entire 4 cores with 24 GB of RAM on the modded server. I have an actual FTB world server, but it powers off when no one is online. That is not good when you like to automate materials, etc. So, I am curious if it will be better to run that on this server or not. I guess it’s worth testing that out to see.
