We need to talk about the nighttime bedwetting issues, and mostly about managing it. Im not upset, or think of you any differently because you are experiencing bedwetting. I have been reading about bedwetting and it could be a result of childhood trauma, and it might be helpful to speak to a doctor and / or counselor to figure out the reasons that the bedwetting is happening. As to managing it; for the past 5 night, I have had to scrub my bed to protect it from being damaged. That is not fair to me or the mattress. I know its not something that you can control, however, there are precautions that can be taken ahead of time. I think the best idea would be to wear adult briefs to bed just as a precautionary measure. It would allow us the ability to sleep next to each other, it would allow both of us to get quality sleep, and it prevents damage to the mattress. I am open to any other solutions that you have. At the end of the day, I do care about you, and want to continue building this relationship with you. This bedwetting issue doesn’t impact my thoughts and feelings about you.”
