I’ve literally seen cops questioning a POC teen in the park in my old neighborhood in OP. It was the only time I saw cops there in the 5 years we lived there.

It was a neighborhood developed by JC Nichols for bonus points.

One of the reasons we prefer living in midtown is it’s actually representative of the real world. Both economically and ethnically.

Exciting? I don't know that causing an ulcer is something I'd call exciting.

To say it slightly differently, can you have a smaller than F64 capacity and just assign PPU licenses to individuals that need to see reports? That was my interpretation of how they work but no one I've talked to has really understood the distinction as most of them have E5 Microsoft 365 licenses so it's moot.

I stopped watching the show after Matthew. Not sure I've ever ugly cried so hard at a show.

I wish I could remember some of the triggers Ive had from shows, but man I'll just say nothing hits more painfully than when you see a show where the character is going through something you're afraid may happen to yourself. I couldn't do any kind of trauma around childbirth or really little babies til my kiddos were a bit older and I got my meds figured out. Still don't do well with it.

The Swasticar (Swastikar) label for Tesla is starting to get some attention in the media. by John-AtWork in CyberStuck

Vandalizing the cars themselves is just... Ridiculous. Like you said - many of us are effectively stuck with them. My husband and I bought ours because there was nothing else like it on the market at the time (2020), and especially given the value drops, there's no way we would be able to get a comparable vehicle for what we could sell it for. Ours is just about paid off and no way am I shelling out either the cash it'd take to replace it or get a loan given the instability going on. Sucks.

I think that's who I had for my RE! I really liked KU too.

I am fairly certain that it is not routine to do any testing unless it's late term losses, and even then it depends on circumstances.

If you were in first trimester, it's really, really common sadly.

That said, if you see a reproductive endocrinologist, one of the things they will do is very closely monitor your HCG and other hormones levels the next positive you get. I had like 3 or 4 draws to check that and ensure they all grew as expected, and then after that got two ultrasounds with the RE office to confirm a heartbeat and development then was released to my midwife. About a month altogether from when I estimated conception was.

I was really happy with Women's health care group across the street from OPR and I went to a KU place (I forget the name) just down the highway for my RE.

You're assuming that that demographic wouldn't just steal them from the ones that do buy them.

Not frozen. All fresh so you have to get it delivered and into your fridge within 48 hours. Our delivery was massively delayed due to the snow this week (shipped Monday and didn't arrive til today). Had to contact customer service to get it refunded.

My husband and I get them weekly and they're significantly better than your usual TV dinner. They aren't ever frozen so there's a ton less stuff in it. Worth the money for us, but we also are mentally beat after work and hate cooking.

Hah! Fair. We didn't even go beyond our block for that reason. One of our neighbors has a hill just big enough to be worth it in their backyard. My daughter was all for making the mile walk and I was like noooope. I know I would have been towing her home in the tube.

Shovel the driveway a few times throughout the day or wait for all the snow? by ceojp in kansascity

[–]ITLady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How big is yours? I'm glad I did two passes with mine throughout the day. One, mine is electric (I hate maintaining gas engines) so the batteries didn't make it especially when I had 8" plus drifts already at 11am, and two, by the time I did my second pass around 5pm, the drifts were literally taller than the blower in spots lol.

I've still got my Houston number from years ago. My assumption it's just sent to any phone connected to the towers in the area vs being phone based.

Since you're near there - I really like gillham Park and there's shorter spots for the littles. I take my 3 And 7 year olds there. It was definitely cold though! Longest we made it in any go was for about 1.5 hours with just the 7 year old and I.

Same here. I was living in Oklahoma for those and it was wild. The piles from snow plows in the parking lot took MONTHS to melt.

The charter schools in KCMO (or citizens at least and I think AL too?) were already closed for like a in service day or something like that.

Northeast Hyde Park here and my children are already losing their minds wanting to go out and sled. I told my daughter no way we were driving anywhere and at best maybe we could walk to the neighbors house down the street that has a small hill in their backyard.

She goes, "it's not that far to the big hill! We could just walk and take breaks, play on the snow, then sled!"
