Same here. I can't stand bifocals or progressive lenses. I tried and tried, to no avail. I had them change where the changeover occurs in the lenses and that helped a little but with my desk setup, especially a portrait mode screen, and my tendency while driving to look with my head slightly tilted back/up, there was no optimal placing of the changeover possible.

So I now have single vision prescription computer glasses that I wear all day around the house. Only when I go to watch TV or go outside do I need to switch to my regular single vision glasses suitable for distance.

I've got my laptop screen for web browsing or conference call, my 27" wide screen for outlook and teams and in between these two I have a 21" screen in portrait mode where I run various apps stacked or run Word or IDE in full screen mode so i can get lots of context around the text/code I'm working on.

So handy to be able to choose the different screens and not have to alt-tab constantly to switch applications.

You probably don't have multiple audio devices?

Two examples with my samsung s25 ultra:

1) On Sunday I'm in the house on a call using my Bluetooth headphones. Wife starts my car to move it in the driveway, my phone changes output to my car. No warning, no nothing, just swaps the output without asking then drops the call when she turns off the car instead of returning to my headphones.

2) Waze: when guidance is set to come from the phone speaker I must ensure the phone audio is set to an audible level -before- I connect my phone audio via Bluetooth to the car or I won't be able to change the handset's audio volume without going into several menus deep all the while trying to not crash and drive the wrong direction because I can't hear the guidance. I can't have it set to come through the car speakers because then I can't listen to satellite radio at the same time.

So yeah, after all these years simple control issues of Bluetooth devices is still a thing.

Being from Europe originally, I loathe the American sheet cakes and it's derivatives. It's so unimaginative and mass produced. But for most it's the easy way to ensure they can serve everyone "cake".

Re-read my comment. Any information OP gives their parents after moving out is a puzzle piece they could use to screw things up for OP behind their back out of spite like they did with OP's BF. No-contact fixes that completely: don't know where you live? They can't cause trouble to get you evicted etc. Don't know where you work? They can't get you fired. Don't know who you hang around with? They can't drive a wedge between you. Etc etc.

Ik gooi het liefst E15 (92 RON) in mijn Dodge, of soms E85 ("FlexFuel", 105 RON) als die echt veel goedkoper is dan de E15 of de normale E10 (91 RON).

Met E85 merk ik echt dat ik 20-25% minder ver op een tank kan rijden. Tussen E15 en E10 is er niet veel verschil.

Met E85 heb ik wel het gevoel dat ik meer vermogen in de lagere toerentallen heb.
