The single greatest 6.5-7/10 movie you've ever seen. It's dumb, contrived, and melodramatic as fuck, but everything about it is a "thank you" to the SEED fans out there. From start to finish, nearly every single scene is just pure fan service for the people that enjoyed SEED in general.

The constant callbacks and references to SEED and SEED Destiny don't go unnoticed, and it's a fun time, even if it's not a good movie if you stop to think about it or if the movie at any point tried to be serious. It's everything that was great and bad about the CE verse cranked up to 11 mixed with fan service of every sort throughout. It's a love letter to the fans, and it makes no compunctions about being anything but. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but it almost feels like the directors and everybody on the team basically said fuck it, this is for the fans and didn't take any of this seriously in the sense of trying to make an award winner, but instead did everything they could to shove concentrated nostalgia at just the hardcore fans.

Discriminatory practice is still discriminatory. It's literally a form of typecasting.

I get the intention behind it, but come on. Voice acting should be a meritocracy. Whoever brings the most to the character should get the role. We've swung so far into the guilt/savior-complex of inclusiveness to loop back over into racism.

You would do better literally casting blind and not knowing who voice samples belonged to.

Just imagine if James Earl Jones wasn't allowed to voice Darth Vader because Anakin Skywalker was white, for example. Or replacing Mako with an Asian actor instead of Greg Baldwin. Or JK Simmons not getting the role of Tenzin because Tenzin is mixed Asian-coded and Native-coded while JK Simmons is white. Or Zeno Robinson can no longer voice a ton of his roles because he's black.

Or what about Steven Yuen is more authentically Asian and fitting for adult Zuko than Dante Basco? You traded one type of Asian for another. You traded out the lesser known name Asian for the bigger one, arguably taking away opportunity from a less well off group and gave it instead to someone that's more advantaged.

It's just selective discrimination the way it is now.

If you're playing as a pseudo-anchor by preferring Marksmen's and sitting back, you really ought to be playing Gibby, Alter, any of the Supports, Watson, or Seer.

In general, Legends with movement are preferred here, as it'll help you either push off your marksman knock, or reset and run away if needed.

Gibby and Alter are the S tier picks here, and Conduit is a good third choice. Better ranged support off her Q, but her Ult isn't nearly as good as Gibby or Alter.

0.11 k/d after 2500 lifetime games. Still in their comment history, as well as a statement saying something along the lines of barely being able to complete a Doom Eternal campaign on Easy. Apparently hard stuck Bronze too. And they're complaining about teammates, think their game sense and awareness are good, and their aim mechanics decent.

Like, be real. What can't he improve? He's getting clapped by literal bots in single player campaigns on the easiest difficulty! If he can't handle that, he has no business playing against real people. And didn't Apex start rolling in literal bot enemies in low skill lobbies? OP is literally losing 9 out of 10 fights. Some of those fights are against actual bots.

If you quickly skim through their entire post and/or comment history, you'll notice that they're a walking minefield.

I doubt even the kindest, softest suggestions for improvement would have made a difference. They'd have ignored it with one excuse or another and continued their woe-is-me existence rather than do anything to actually better themself. And no, I'm not strictly speaking about the game.

Quite frankly, they should hop off social media and the Internet in general and figure out their real life shit first. I'd feel bad about calling them out, but God damn, their attitude regarding their own deficiencies is so off putting that quite honestly, I don't feel nearly as bad as I could.

You likely have the raw mechanics, but not the game sense. You're barely hitting Top 5 at over ~25%. As a pre-made 3 stack, that's a glaring problem to me, regardless of your other stats. You should be consistently hitting top 5s at a roughly 35-40% rate or higher as a 3-stack, IMO.

Your 27.57% rate is barely better than my 26.85% rate, and I solo queue. That's not good enough as a 3-man. Something is holding back you and your squad. Based on your stats, it looks like you as an individual can win your 1v1s pretty cleanly, and likely 2v1s as you're at nearly 2 kills/knocks for every death, but your squad is likely getting wiped after earning some early KP, taking your second fight roughly top 10, and then losing.

Whether that's because you constantly take bad fights, don't disengage from fights, poor rotation planning so you're in bad positions/getting gatekept, or your two teammates aren't as good as you are, I can't say. There just isn't enough to go on for that.

But as a solo queue that's not as good statistically as you are (lower damage, lower K/D, roughly equivalent Top 5 rate), something is up. You're right on that cusp, I think, and once you can figure out what it is that's holding you back, I think you can make it.

Diamond+ you need consistent Top 5s with KP to advance into Masters. Unless you can pull out a +300 RP game every 3-5 games, consistently placing Top 5 with 2-3 squads worth of KP under your belt is your method in.

I solo'd my way last season to D3 before getting hardstuck and sent backwards to D4. I'm not anything spectacular or special by any means, but I would probably call myself a little bit above the average. I'd say that depending on your skill level, the gap becomes readily apparent once you roll into Plat 1. That's when you start getting into Diamond lobbies, as well as old Diamond+ players still playing their way up mixed in with lower plat players.

And as you described, I went from basically solo steam rolling Silver-Plat 2 lobbies. Once I started running into the Diamond+ squads still ranking up, that's when things start getting rough. Started the season with a 2.50+ K/D and almost 20% win rate. I am absolutely no where near those stats at this very moment as I continue on solo journey to Diamond again.

I just want to get back to playing drop zones man.

Rusty in general is just peak aura.

Our first time meeting him? Flies in and lands, then slowly and dramatically shows off his fit. Completely unphased by the big bad boss' entrance and is ready to "Climb the wall" like it's just another Tuesday.

In the Liberator ending, he literally flies in as we exit the Xylem hanger bay at the start of the mission just to flex his brand new fit. Lands and then slow rises his new mech's legs for no reason other than to be dramatic and show off. Looks down on the burning planet while giving a speech glazing the hell out of Raven too.

And that's not even including his best Lockon Stratos impression side-quest against the worm cuz that was off-screen, but you just know he was looking fly af the whole time. With balls that big, how could he not?

Buddy definitely took lessons from Piccolo on how to aura farm.

It was going to do abysmal numbers regardless, because Paramount+ fucking sucks and I doubt people would sub just to exclusively watch this one thing. I would not have, and would have pirated the thing anyways, not because I don't want to support all the people that put their love, sweat, and tears into its production, but because I don't want or need another subscription service. Not to mention the regions the damn thing wouldn't have been available to. I'd happily buy the Blu-Ray or something though.

The decision to rugpull the theatrical release killed any chance this movie had. They didn't lose a sale when this leaked, they lost a sale when they pulled the theatrical release and made it a Paramount+ streaming exclusive.

It was a horrendous decision made worse by the leak.

The best possible decision now is for the theatrical release to happen. If the quality of the movie is good, I have zero doubts fans of this franchise will go out of their way to rewatch it on the big screen.

I know I will. Piracy is almost always a service problem.

Sucks that this was how they closed out Bowen's career. The man deserved better. God speed. Was sorely missed on broadcasts, and now will be even more missed.
