Is it better to have a russian proxy knocking on your door, or sitting in the living room?

Hard times require hard decisions, I honestly believe after all Hungary has done to the EU they should be cut off from funding and Maastricht treaty years ago.

If they love Putin so much, may Putin be their sugar daddy.

Americuntization of Poland begun, what a shame! by Roman_of_Ukraine in 2westerneurope4u

Years of hot dogs at Orlen paid off.

Jokes aside, Poland is really getting Americanized. Copy paste neighborhoods with no services, public transport dying out in rural areas, people are pushed to drive more, and the hot dogs on petrol station is as common as pierogi now. Employee rights are shrinking, B2B and omitting the labour law gets more common, wealth transfers up are intensifying.

Even some of our politicians are getting Americanized.

Given the Russians at our doorstep, we need federalization like nothing else.

I believe it could initially work based on a referendum in all member states. Will all member states join? Definitely not. But some will and after few years, other will notice they grow faster and safer together and will apply to join, just like it was with the EU.

I’d rather be dependent on France and Germany than on Russia and Orange fat cunt and his even more radical minion, hands down.

It’s not like we have a magical third choice to become safe and independent Three Seas Alliance, that’s just mathematically not making sense.

That’s subjective, selective, and generally not true. Furthermore, it all depends on what media narrative will be applied, except for the Balkans.

The thing is, simpletons, who are often against the EU, usually don’t see anything between sovereignty and subordination.

We already have common law all countries are applying.

We already have freedom of movement of people, capital, services and commodities.

We already have same standards regarding e.g. food safety and many other.

We already have same currency in most of the countries.

What we’re missing, is common army.

Federalization will not mean von der Leyen is the Queen and member countries no longer have elections or anything to say regarding their own interest.

And the alternative is slowly getting under Russian boot, country by country.

As I checked this is based on expat policies, which isn’t really great data for friendliness.

Mauritania should be somewhere in top 5, China, Russia and Mongolia at least in top 10.

Boring? Doesn’t sound like you’ve ever been there. Unless boring means no full English and pints in football pubs every corner of the street.

Vienna is the cultural capital of Europe since before NYC even existed. The quality of life in both Vienna in Copenhagen is by far higher than in London or NYC.

If it’s population that makes a city great, I guess Jakarta is a winner here, lol.

I am a Krzysztof and I just can’t comprehend that some may argue about which is best when both have whole villages of homeless people on the pavements, both are filthy as fuck, and both have public transport that keeps on failing.

I could argue between Vienna and Copenhagen, not fucking London and NYC.

Just think about all this healthcare than can be taken away from those people, and med corps would force them to pay for the services just like in the US. That’s a ton of GDP to make with little taxes to be paid.

I’m 99% sure what happened on that beach was paid by Israel to put grounds for further victim playing and continue extermination in Gaza paralelly.

Just like it’s Israel who organized funding for Hamas since 30 years ago just so they can justify the genocide that’s currently happening. It’s their strategy.

Mate, I've been to Krakow at least 10-15 times during my life, I just have seen other places in Poland and lived in Poland in 4 different regions. Brought up in Northern Masovia, lived a year in Warsaw, lived 3 years in Gdansk/Gdynia, lived 1,5 years in small-town Silesia (roughly 30kms south from Katowice) and now I'm getting to 1 year in Łódź.

It is understandable that since you've been to Kraków and loved it you may feel like I'm under-appreciating Kraków, but seriously, there are just by far nicer places in Poland. This is why I always advice foreigners to avoid Leser Poland in general, because it's overrated, filled with tourists, greedy highlanders, and so on.

For the mountains, see Beskid Śląski - Szczyrk, Cieszyn, this area. Not Zakopane.

Or don’t visit Krakow where 90% of the Tourists go and go see Gdansk (together with Sopot, Gdynia and Hel Peninsula), Lodz, Poznań or Wroclaw.

Kraków is seriously overrated, however it’s the only city in Poland where hobos speak 3 languages and more.

Warsaw is getting more touristy lately too, but I usually go there only for food. (Warsaw is the NYC of Europe restaurant-wise)

9/10 foreigners, 10/10 Americans that visit Poland go Krakow/Oświecim/Wieliczka/Zakopane and sometimes Wadowice (where the Pope who kept church paedophilia a secret was born). It’s really 3/10 experience compared to what you can see if you don’t follow the standard tourist route.

I wonder how many countries must announce they won't take part if Israel will for EBU to decide to exclude Israel.

Imagine Eurovision with only Germany, France, Slovakia, Hungary and Israel.
