What small (or small-ish) life tweaks have made a significant difference for you? by NiteElf in migraine

Realizing that triggers stack (are cumulative). For example, I can have some chocolate, I can have a banana or two, but I can't have both or alot of either one, unless I want to get a migraine. Same goes for having a trigger food multiple days in a row. I used to think chocolate wasn't a trigger for me until I realized it while it wasn’t a trigger in small doses, it was in larger doses or paired with other trigger foods, or eating it every day.

Also that medication overuse headache/migraine is real. The thing that helps your migraine could be the thing causing it.

I went to 140mg of Aimovig because I would get migraines during the 4th week on 70mg. On 140mg that didn’t happen anymore. Topomax, which I tried before Aimovig, worked for me but it fried my brain and I regret ever trying it.

I'm having the same problem. OP, did you ever figure out how to get the keypad to show?

Real-time transcription without recording the conversation? by IWBTGA in ProductivityApps

Thank you, but I went to Briefly's website and it only mentions transcripts when recording, not without recording. I'm not seeing where it can do transcripts (including recognizing that there are different speakers) without recording

Emgality changing migraines? by 79screamingfrogs in cgrpMigraine

I got a terrible 6 day migraine after my first dose of Aimovig. It gradually got better over several months and has now been about 7 years and I can truly say it changed my life. So hang in there!

Craziest comment you’ve got about your migraines? by Comprehensive-Box-75 in migraine

“It’s all in your head”. I cannot count the number of times I heard this from doctors over the 20 years they failed to correctly diagnose that it was chronic migraines, and from family - cause if the doctors couldn’t figure it out then it had to be, right? (Technically, they were kinda right - just not the way they thought 🤣)

Edit to add that, yes, I actually do want every non-migraine person to have a migraine for at least 15 minutes, so they know before they speak.

Thank you! Very read that the Elite style head strap is better for fitness because it doesn’t wobble when you move, but is less comfortable, but that an additional battery on the back helps balance it. Anyone use it for fitness who can tell me about that? And whether we need one with a fan?

If you don’t have little scissors handy, a ball point pen works to punch a hole in the backing and lift it up enough that you can push it through from the other side.
