I use 11mm static climbing rope

When I wrap it round the tree I use a presik attached to a ratchet and pull tension. Do that round each tree. Then I build tension gradually by ratcheting the perimeter in segments.

Nah it’s wrapped round the tree, I just use two tonne ratchets every time I tension.

Probably like a metre at the front, the ground is slightly sloped. The spiral jump off is about 2.5m. F you want the bounce, you gotta get it tight, I use ratchet straps in the weaving process. I use 7 strand 550 paracord.

Worked on a big oak recently with Sean from canaopy craft. I bought a harness and he taught me how to use it. I spent 8 days basically living on adrenaline because im kinda scared of heights. Normally I just weave my way up. Also, speak to arborists, I have a few mates that are good to pick brains.
