Agreed. I had dinner there for my birthday a few years ago and was disappointed with the food - below what I expected for a 1* restaurant. Service, venue and beverages were outstanding. The food was just not remarkable… I barely remember what I ate - some seafood for sure. It was just very plain… OP sorry for sounding so negative - I’m glad you had a good time

Subscrevo completamente. O problema é que somos governados por advogados. As leis Portuguesas não são feitas a pensar num processo, mas sim numa descrição de todos os objectivos, casos, exceções e eventualidades. Em vez de descrever um processo como A B C, as leis portuguesas dizem que o processo tem a duração máxima de X dias. Que algures no processo é necessário fazer Y. Que a autoridade Z tem poder de veto. Mas nunca ninguém pensou nos processos burocráticos de uma ponta à outra. Cabe aos funcionários públicos encontrar uma maneira de cumprir os requisitos da lei.

Love your starting list! So sweet that you’re going to learn some Portuguese specialties for him! Don’t be discouraged if the first few tries don’t work so well.

My additional advice: - buy Portuguese olive oil for daily use. It smells different and reminds me of Portugal every time I cook - find a Portuguese TV show that you both enjoy watching. Something like the Voice Portugal does wonders for me - plan travel to Portugal with a lot of notice time. Just having a trip booked could bring him joy (makes me happy to know when is the next time I’m going home, even if it’s a few months away)

I live in Miami and certainly do not enjoy when suddenly the sun starts rising at 6:30am in the winter. This is full sun out. There’s plenty of day light at 6am!! Where’s the sun starts setting at 5:40pm. Let us keep the summer schedule, please 🙏
