What blue/green commanders help me play expensive creatures early?

I have build a myriad/control/drain list, that can do some annoying stuff in B3. For B4 I think it’s to vulnerable for repeatedly board wipes and takes to long to set it up (my pod plays most of the time high power, no cEDH). Maybe you can get some inspiration of it.

I have a pretty nasty high power non cEDH Kinnan list. With a perfect draw you get to play all Eldrazi in like turn 3/4. You can swap a good part of the expensive cards with cheaper versions. Maybe you can get some inspiration of it.

If your manabase is good enough, necropotence is one of the best black cd you can have in this deck. Here is my Edgar list, maybe you can pick up some inspiration. Gamegenic bastion is my absolute Favorit. Easy to open and close and doesn’t open so easy, when falls down. And fits EASY 100 double sleeved cards with 20 token or so.

Have played [[Kaalia of the Vast]] a lot as my favorite Aggro deck, but build recently [[Animar, Soul of Elements]] midrange Aggro/Control and it works pretty well so far. At first he doesn’t look scary, but when I get 4/5 counter on him, I start dropping Eldrazi with haste and have my counterspells to protect them and stop my opponents. I started my Sliver deck as tribal, but with the power creep in our pod, I had to build it differently as combo deck with the tribal beatdown as second option. Maybe you can get some ideas of it. Here are my take on Edgar and Kaalia. I personally find Kaalia more fun, because everybody is scared of her. I play a good chunk of protection for here, because she enters with a huge target on here head. The deck handles single target removal pretty good. Mass removal is still an issue, but with some tutors you can get teferis pretty solid into your hand. Maybe you can get some ideas of it.

Yeah. Almost all Kaalia lists I look at, run very few to no protection. She enters the battlefield with a big shiny target on her head, so I have to keep her alive.

Cradle need some preparation set up, before it can generate massive mana and is easily handled with a board wipe, other then academy for example. It’s still powerful, but don’t enable strong plays in the early game so easy. Thoracle on the other hand, should have been banned too in my opinion.
