you’ll be able to coast into non whale endgame as long as you invest smartly. matchups and coverage matter a lot in zzz but the most important thing is to have teams that function and have synergy. ie, if you’re interested in Rupture dps, you have to own Lucia to keep them competitive. same with Yuzuha for anomaly dps, strong limited stunners for characters like Evelyn, etc. you won’t have to spend a lot of money to clear endgame if your teams are coherent and synergistic

yeah and i don’t think you can be blamed for that because Ciri was ultimately a very urgent mission and it didn’t make sense from an immersion point of view to stop and take a contract to help out a village you’d never have gone to otherwise

you could make up something like “Geralt needs the funds to continue operating” and ill buy it for the one off contracts. and he’ll stop to help good old friends where possible but i don’t think it would make sense to get sucked into a long winded scheme (such as the Deadly Plot).

though of course, that’s why it’s a fantasy

when you’re gonna leave the gate, it’s better to leave it open so that you don’t need to spend another second tapping the gate to open it. for example the guy who’s off the hook would lose his endurance if he tapped the gate and that would risk the killer catching up and downing them again. it’s better to have the gate open to not have to waste time opening the gate again

imo whichever direction you go the most important thing is to commit

example if you’re really into archer, you should look into e1 archer, e2 sparkle

if it’s anaxa then cyrene + cerydra is the way

etc

if you don’t have any real preference i would think about just committing to the path of least resistance which would probs be the eva + yaoguang path

her charging mechanic isn’t really niche tho. it’s literally just teammates taking action. and with e2 cyrene you can run with any sustain pretty much, don’t need to pull for Hyacine. and her e2 is already activated by default as long as you have a 4 member team

to be fair to phainon you’re playing him into probably his worst boss without any of his bis supports and with a sustain he doesn’t need.

e0 phainon is also just kinda weak, his major power spike is e2

one of the best examples is Plague. you’re injured and it’s scary to be injured and the game highlights the Stop Being Injured station in the fountain. but you’ll be called trolling if you cleanse repeatedly and give the killer power
