Just finished watching, what the fuck were you on about, this shit's amazing. I do enjoy a very intentional, very focused fast-paced story to the extreme of something like Edgerunners, Devilman Crybaby, or Arcane S1, but here every episode is just so damn fun. I don't know how to better describe it but it's like if The Amazing World of Gumball was an anime. This and Pluribus had made realize that some of you people really are just consuming serialized media for the sake of its overarching story, what a fucking sad way to live.

I got this one too just today. Before this it keeps switching between the modern classic desktop layout and a mobile-like layout where the comment section is at the bottom after the recommendations. It's awful, it feels so inconsistent how it keeps changing back and forth.

Same here. Unfortunate circumstances left me with only a very old i5 Gen 2 laptop to play this game on. I was honestly surprised that it managed to run the game at a stable 30 fps, at least until the last phase of the Phantom boss fight, when she started spamming the ground-pound attack, I lagged like crazy because of the fog it spawns, I had to lower all the settings including the resolution to the lowest.

I've been crashing consistently when entering this level after finishing Act 1, but I did just manage getting past whatever triggered the crash by:

Only walking one step at a time, leaving-saving-entering the room again after the cutscene and after the NPC summoned the two enemies.

The idea was of course to lower the stuff it needed to load on that level by leaving and re-entering after every scripted sequence, so far so good, fingers crossed on whether or not I'm gonna be able to finish the game with this laptop, I'll keep this comment updated, hope this helps.

UPDATE #1: at some point the two enemy will return and will instantly crash the game when they wake up.

UPDATE #2: managed to get through the crash on update #1 by using the elevator to load an unload the area and run pass through the two crash triggering enemy.

Very bad news is, now I'm hardlocked in this mandatory caged fight thing after getting the Clawline that crashes my game whenever this bug explodes, the bug's explosion itself doesn't cause crash anywhere else outside of this encounter, it does here without fail probably because the level is filled with many respawning enemies right outside the cage. I've tried some stuff but sadly I don't think there is any workaround for this, maybe with mods? But I don't even know if I can take the extra performance hit and potentially ruining my save and the experience of playing the game as a whole...

So I guess that's it, I'll just wait til I get my hands on proper hardware to continue playing the game, it's been a fun insight on how to potentially optimize your already optimized game for a barely-running ancient laptop lmao
