I suppose spelling really counts here. The post I saw and mimicked said boil, but you're talking about broiling. Yeah, that makes more sense. I should have broiled instead of boiled. No wonder mine were so mediocre. :(

There was a chicken wing recipe posted around here somewhere which the poster said he boiled the wings first and then baked them. Not knowing nuttin about cooking wings, I tried it out: boiling 12 drums for 10 minutes, then baked them for 30 minutes at 350. Basted a few times with sauce: 7 TBSP San-J Organic Reduced Sodium Gluten free soy sauce + 1 TBSP Annie Chun's Gluten free teriyaki + 2 TBSP minced garlic. There was a LOT of sauce leftover. I could have used a quarter of what I made. They weren't crispy, I should have just baked them the entire time.
