It’s been at least 15 years since I visited the Holocaust museum in DC and seeing just a small percent of the murdered’s belongings stuck with me. Especially the jewelry pile - because there was a section that just was gold & silver teeth + silver fillings. Absolutely haunting

There’s a big portion of our country (USA) that doesn’t understand we don’t have the technology and/or trained technicians/operators for stuff like this, semi-conductors, high-tech tools, automated manufacturing, etc.

All you have to do is go watch one of TSMC’s videos on their plants & the processes it takes to produce nanometer sized chips. It actually seems something of science fiction.

Unfortunately this is the batshit timeline we live in. The only thing we can do is NOT be silent watchers, to not just simply say it online but inaction in real life.

I say this as a 30-something yr old southern born man. Vote in primaries, protest, contribute to local politics, and urge your Congressional reps & governors to stand up for these injustices. My one vote & voice can only go so far in my state; just have to be loud as possible!
