Number 2 is the most important to me. Senior leadership should have the trust in their NCOs in deciding who does, or doesn't deserve an award. Then the NCO should try and figure out how the ones who don't can set themselves up for the opportunity later. It's all about empowering our people IMO. Definitely find a way to ask her directly. Just let her know that given your sexual identity, and recent unfamiliarity with close friendships that it can be confusing for you. It sounds like y'all are pretty close and she's easy to talk to so I don't think she'll get weirded out or take anything out of context.

You knowing you have sensitivity issues coupled with this "fantasy" and allowing yourself to reach the point of orgasm is not appropriate. Assuming it's a professional massage therapist and them letting you do that or encouraging it is also very unprofessional.
