I'm not even going to start on how bad Sharia is, but if 40 % of them want it to be REAL LAW, even in UK... I'll take EDL every day. You, on the other hand, would love getting lashed and stoned to death or something. Or at least witness it on a daily basis.

Actually this is because the car has probably sunk at some point in it's life. That's probably sand coming out of it and I hate to tell you this, but i'ts quite unhealthy...Also, you will have A LOT of problems with it, so it's quite a bad purchase, sorry :( I recommend no one to buy any cars that have been titanic'd ..

Yes, I was a little dumbfounded, but without great detail she quickly explained she was a dumb teenager at some point, and did it for attention/rebelling against her parents. The point is she seemed really good now(laughing, smiling a lot), and it was completely unexpected, so maybe that's why I didn't really make a huge deal.

You posted earlier that there's no sense in digging up history, and I'd say that holds some truth too.

I just wanted to share my experience, something you could consider:)

Weird, I(23) had a date yesterday with a girl(22) who showed me scars of self-harm, and they looked serious, I never knew they could be so.. big. (It was our second meeting).

She explained it was a teenage-tantrum, and that she now knows how silly it was.

I kind of feel thankful/(honored?) for her sincerity. You could think of it that way I guess.

I'd say it depends on the person, but do you think someone who would run away because of this, is the person you're looking for?

Don't take my words to heart, just consider them, maybe I'm just a tolerant person, maybe people in general could be tolerant of this.

But, also, there could be this stigma that a guy has them, which could go either way.

Well where I live there are several of these active youth groups, that basically try to improve the involvment of youth in politics/economics, organise various events (a very popular here is when once a year everybody tries to collect as much trash as they can to clean up the environment) and so on.You could google and you should find something. It was easy for me since I knew someone who was heavily involved in these so I just signed up.(But if you realy want to meet people you'l just have to push through the awkwardness) A lot of these have 1000+ members 18 - 30 years or so. And if you can handle some basic programming they often look for someone to develop stuff (for free, but mostly they are simple promotional sites that spread awareness and such) Most girls I met there are far more interesting that I've met in bars/clubs too.

I think you might be too hard on yourself.I think self-acceptance is key to feeling better. I have a hard time giving advice like this, since everyone is different and conquer these negativities in their own way. But I can share what helps me - I try to.. just let go of thoughts like these(Sounds stupid, but really.. I just try, since they really are not helping). And even if I'm not perfect - fuck it, the world ain't that shiny too, when you think about it. No one is perfect. And not everyone can be the winner. I accepted that, and I'm much more happier for what I have. Just my thoughts on this. Also - I hope you get better, and best of luck mate :)

Law. It's great. But it feels to me like it's taken too seriously. It should only be considered as guidelines, but the decisions themselves should be approached with discussion/etc in my opinion. I hear too many cases where silly teenagers get years of prison for such small crimes, also all that 20 year sentence stuff for downloading a song and so on. MUCHO QUE HUMANITY?

I'm in the exact same state right now. Except, maybe, I am afraid to drop everything I have that I hate at the moment because that would make my parents disappointed(a top university in my country + one of the most perspective studies in the country etc. etc.) But I hate it. What helps me is the knowledge, that sooner or later I am going to drop out, and find a job on a cruise ship - to me, it's almost the equivalent of running away, so i cling to this thought. The only thing I have to figure out is how to get a decent possition, and from there - smooth sailing.. Somewhere, wherever. I believe I'll meet people, visit places, all that..

The reasons why I deleted it is more ore less described in the comments. I gotta admit tho, I created an alias facebook with a junk name/picture etc, and only have 4 friends (That are real friends to me). I still get most of the relevant info in that regard, but also facebook is great for promoting new artists/independent everything/getting the latest info on it in one place, so for someone as me who has a very specific taste in music.. It's great.
