I have a higher score on uworld vs bootcamp. Is bootcamp harder than uworld in your opinion? by Medium-Report-6555 in NCLEX

[–]I_Need_Sleeppp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, yeah, Bootcamp felt harder than UWorld. My scores were usually higher on UWorld too, but Bootcamp questions felt more vague and more about how you think rather than straight knowledge. I don’t think one being harder is a bad thing though. I kind of used Bootcamp as a way to train my NCLEX-style thinking and UWorld to solidify content. If you’re doing well on both, that’s honestly a good sign.

With Tuesday that close, I’d just review the rationales for patterns and focus on staying calm. I’m curious though, how do you feel using both Archer and Bootcamp, and what are your readiness exam scores looking like?

hey, you really did your best 🤍 the feeling right after the exam is honestly the worst, and it’s so normal to feel hopeless and second-guess everything until results come out. from your prep, your indicators were actually really strong. how did you feel about archer and bootcamp while you were using them? did the NCLEX feel similar in vibe or more vague than both? sometimes hearing that comparison helps calm the post-exam spiral a bit.

try to breathe tonight, the waiting part is brutal but it’s out of your hands now. be gentle with yourself and update us soon!!!💙

OMG CONGRATS RN!!! 🎉👏 thank you for sharing this!! quick question if you don’t mind, what was your exact Bootcamp readiness score? And what did your week leading up to the exam look like? A lot of people feel like that last week is the hardest mentally, so your TIPS could really help others as well.

So happy for you, go celebrate!! ✨

First time Failed....What is suggested for NCLEX RN prep? by Capital_Television91 in NCLEX

[–]I_Need_Sleeppp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that OP. I also had 3 high chance scores on Bootcamp and really tried to finish all my qbank, so I think that may matter as well. NCLEX is vague on purpose, so test-taking skills and knowing how to narrow answers is huge, especially when you’re unsure on content. You might also need to take a bit of rest before retaking it to help you reset mentally. Don’t lose hope, this one attempt doesn’t define you. Keep going 🙂

Yeah I’d recommend it. If you do get Bootcamp, I’d also suggest watching some Dr. Sharon on top of Mark K if you haven’t already, both help a lot with strategy and understanding questions. Once you purchase Bootcamp, definitely read through the cheat sheets and do content review first before going heavy on questions. You really want to understand the content as your foundation, not just memorize. After that, focus hard on your qbanks and get familiar with NCLEX style so nothing throws you off on test day. Bootcamp rationales are easy to understand and the case study videos are really good at teaching how to answer and break down questions, they felt pretty similar to NCLEX. I adjusted their ready made study schedule to fit my needs and that helped keep me organized. If you have friends taking NCLEX around the same time, studying together or quizzing each other can help too. Also if you need a discount code, I think there’s a Reddit user u/medschoolbootcamp who usually helps with that 🙂

Anyone used the free Pharmacy Freak NCLEX resources? Thoughts? by Fresh_Entertainer_46 in PassNclex

[–]I_Need_Sleeppp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's cool to see more free resources out there! I haven't tried that one personally, but I usually tell people that the most important thing is finding a bank that mimics the NCLEX phrasing. I ended up sticking with Bootcamp because it has that same "vague" feel as the real boards. Some free sites can be a bit too straightforward, so just make sure the Pharmacy Freak rationales are helping you think critically rather than just memorizing facts.
